Sorry about not being clear; allow me to better illustrate my dilemma...
So, I've got 3dsMax 2013 installed. I also have the OgreMax 2.2.7 plugin. What I've been doing to export objects into .mesh files is this:
OgreMax>Export>Export Selected Objects...
Then, I name the file, make sure that it IS a .mesh file, and save it to "MyObjects".
When I try to open it in Object Maker, nothing shows up--the classic "File not Found!" message does not even show.
I've been wondering if this is not working because:
1) the object has to have a material file before being exported into a .mesh file
2) I've got the wrong version of Ogre plugin
3) I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing...
