Its actually quite simple. This is how I do it:
You open your FeralHeart folder, and open the markings cfg file in notepad, and at the end of each file (it starts with cbody I believe) you put the marking you want to add, Like how I did the tabby, I typed under Fhead: Common Tabby;fmarkCommonTabbybody.png and at the end of each file you want it in, type like: Common Tabby;fmarkCommonTabbyhead.png and stuff. Then, save the changes, then go to media>textures, then find a body marking for the correct model you saved the file in (canine or feline) If you did the body. Copy and paste one of the current markings, then open the copied file in a photo editor. The white part of your marking is what the color can be changed to. What is black is the regular fur color. To get eh black, use th paintbrush. For the actual marking, you use the eraser. Whatever is erased is what the marking will be. Save it then as what you saved it as in the cfg file, Like: fmarkCommonTabbybody.png and then it should work. Once you have completed them all, Open feral-heart, Go to create a character (it also works in preset maker if you click custom) and scrol to the bottom of the file you saved the marking in, like Body, Head, or Tail. But, the markings will only work for the model you saved it for, Canine or Feline. At the bottom of the list, you should see your marking. I saw: Common Tabby. You click it, then go to the final tab where you edit colors. Pelt for common tabby I recommend making white. The marking can be any other color. It should work, If that is not detailed enough, I will try to make a tutorial on youtube soon.
