Basically just your normal feral heart title screen with a black screen, for characters, my characters are just fine but the background is also black.

Nothings missing, I just reinstalled the game!

Hrrrmh. That looks like it would be cause by a missing podium file since that's what the background of character selection is. Though a fresh re-install should have it be there already. Try downloading mine.

Try downloading this, and dragging/replacing to:
FeralHeart > media > terrains > fhmaps.

Nope doesn't have my problem, my screen isn't completely black I can still see the login and the other options, the background is just black.

Oh man it's worse than I thought! When I try to play everything is black and I can only see my character!

Try this download for FeralHeart, as it seems to work for certain people. Download it as usual. ^^

I also suggest attempting to update your graphic card drivers since they have to do with game visuals. There is a tutorial by our dear Red on how to do that here.
