« on: June 10, 2011, 01:58:15 am »
I downloaded the mappack today, and when i log on to feral hearts, and go to the character selection screen, the background is completely black, and when i get online in the game everything is black, i can see my character and other characters and i can see what they type. i was wondering how to fix tthis problem, i would really appreciate it. :)

well, ive never downloaded maps before, so im not really sure where to put the map files.  when it downloaded, i put the FHmaps folder in the feralhearts folder, but then i read that you put them in the exports folder, and thats when it messed up.

Yeah, why do you listen to others instead of reading the Info Thread.

The Maps bellong into the fhmaps folder.
Pathways.fhm is the only file belonging into exports.

If you have put ALL files from all folders of the installer into exports.. then delete all of them and reinstall the mappack and put the files only in the folders with the names they hold.

Like export: files goes in export folder
sky: files go into sky folder

and so on..

Okay, my bad I suppose. But, I can see that you're annoyed. Not trying to be mean or anything but I don't think it accomplishes something to be testy (well, annoyed and testy are the same right?) to someone needing help. Its the people as a whole that didn't read your map pack post, not whole people. Again, sorry for the misunderstanding c: My fault
