I think that you should perhaps try out both and experiment. Then when you have the result of both, see whichever you like best. No matter the result, there is no doubt the community will enjoy the looks of your textures. <3

I'd think feline since their faces are more rounded and stubby so you can get that cute hampster face more easily than with the canines ^^

Aye aye, I was just hoping to do something that wouldn't get so much time since, it will need alot of time to get it right for both of the models and need to test it etc ;3;

I'd 'ave to agree n' say feline. As others above have described, it's a bit easier to fit their adorable chubiness in there.
