Okay, I wasn't ever much of a poet, but better at writing paragraph style. Nevertheless, I will try to do poetry.
"Blowing" is about a leaf. Very interesting, right? XP
BlowingA breeze carries me across the lake,
I feel the cool touch of it's hand.
A breeze carries me over the trees,
where I used to live,
but I will not land.
Puffy clouds above me,
Green grasses below,
Where I will be taken,
You may never know.
"Falling" is an interesting, but very long. This next one is a a song I wrote when I was thinking about a character who was dangling off a cliff and lost all hope. Then she let go...
FallingI used to stand tall,
I used to be proud,
I used to be strong,
Not anymore.
'Cause I'm falling down,
plummeting to the ground.
No more for me now,
falling to the ground,
no reason to grab hold,
'cause there's nothing more for me,
just falling to hit the ground.
I feel the wind whip me,
a shiver run up my spine,
but I could care less.
The stars hang, just out of reach,
With clouds beside me, who don't care a thing.
As I soon fall past 'em all, the meadow gets closer,
and I can't do thing.
'Cause I'm falling down,
plummeting to the ground.
No more for me now,
falling to the ground,
no reason to grab hold,
'cause there's nothing more for me,
just falling to hit the ground.
I'm falling so fast, I don't feel a thing,
but the wind in my face,
whisking me away,
just like the autumn leaves in a gentle breeze.
I wish I could fly,
like the angels above,
or a cat, who always lands on their feet,
but I'm neither of these, so I just close my eyes,
wishing it to be over,
before I begin to cry.

I've seen no hope,
Ever since I took a tumble of that old mount,
I've learned I don't have a purpose,
But to fall and hit the ground.

Without any reason to grab hold,
Cause there's no more for me now.
And then I hit the ground.
I wrote this during a week I was really frustrated. Writing always seems to help me grab the reins and control my life again...
When Trouble Comes Along Your PathYou dash along the path,
Not knowing what's around the corner,
Then your feet get out of sync,
And all you can think of is to sit and cry.
And you almost trip along the trail,
nearly landing on the ground,
At the frightening sight of what lies ahead.
You cannot go on journeying,
It's too much pain, too much trouble,
So instead of running forward with bravery,
You stop, then take a step back.
But what you must know,
is you must pick up the speed again,
And continue running down your path.
