Take a look at me
It won't fill me with glee
Although it's nice to know I'm not a ghost
When you see me
Stereotype takes control
Its others that made me who I am
I didn't form myself
Generations of genes, cells and heritage created me
Attributes being dragged up the ladder
Leading to me
During the dreadful dragging
Of agony and regret
Debris from others stuck to those attributes
Tainting, tinkering and molding me
Into who I am now
Nobody asks for abuse
Nobody wants torture
Nobody wants to face rejection
That debris path truly hurts
But atleast I am here today
Atleast I was molded and formed into something
Call me a monster
Hate me
Fear me
Judge me
The path was worth the pain
It proves my true character
To be brave and courageous
Im not a monster
You just see me that way
