As cool and as awarding as this sounds, I'm not confident that this title would be the greatest to introduce, there are multiple reasons why.

Members of The Season
We have this for a reason, and this encourages users to help around the forum, we expect a great deal for those who want to help. These people earn this title through hard work. This title isn't a permanent thing so others have a chance to win the title each season. Having the title as "Helper" would be too much to show around the forum. This is just a little award to say thank you to users who have been a helping hand.

Balance and Discouragement
As mentioned a few times above, a lot of so called "none-helper" users would find this rather discouraging. Yes there's the drive to want to help people, but then there's also the other half who would find this a little out of balance. Most likely to the point were they may feel a little left out, or outcasted. We don't want users to feel like that.

We want people to feel equal, and at the same time to give people what they deserve. As mentioned in the previous statement, we have MOTS where USERS decide who will suit this title and who they think deserves it for the season. It doesn't make anything look like the Staff may be "picking a few favourites" like the "Helpers" title would show. We don't want dramas to occur at all.

Also, what happens when people get bored of Feral-Heart? or maybe have to leave or take un-predictable time off? Think about that. We can't go giving out these "helper titles" like this. The Staff already have a lot on their hands to focus on keeping this in order. Managing something as big as this would make things a whole lot more complicated indeed.

Mistaking for a Staff Member
This has been mentioned before, but we would like to not have users mistaking these so called "helpers" as Staff Members. This can lead to many troubles such as an actual helper choosing to act like a Staff Member and most likely impersonate one which is against the rules, and we all know what happens when the rules are broken...

Current Ranks
These already show how active and helpful people may be. Adding a "Helper" Title/Rank would really be pushing it, don't cha think?

It's a nice thought, but it wouldn't work out.

I'm gonna go ahead and lock this, since it's been answered pretty thoroughly. Moon is definitely not the first to suggest something along these lines, as well! A great thought and intention behind it, but in practice, it would more than likely lead to misunderstandings and those who may be discouraged from helping out the community, just because they haven't received a title as a "helper."

Thank you for the input, though, to all who contributed to the discussion. Your thoughts are duly noted and appreciated!
