Game Discussion / Re: Character Inspirations
« on: February 23, 2015, 06:11:00 pm »
My character, Llama, was actually based off of the character I played as on WolfQuest. FeralHeart Llama is actually nothing like WolfQuest Llama on the outside. FeralHeart Llama is bright green and is much wiser, but they have the one and same personality.

Lament on the other hand is loosely based off of Armin Miewes. I won't really go into who he is, but feel free to research him. His story is actually pretty interesting, if not grotesque.

When I get a break from pack related stuff, I enjoy running around Flourite Plains and listening in on different roleplays or conversations, especially warrior cats. They tend to be the most amusing.

Also, I wonder what they think? Some derpy red wolf watching them from afar, slowly creeping closer.

Game Discussion / Re: What's the Creepiest In-game experience you've had?

I've honestly never been troubled by anything in-game or even just on the forums. However, nothing is more alarming than getting a message from one of your packmates to "quickly get online; someone might have hacked into your account". Long story short, I regained control of my account and quickly changed my password. The hacker was a good friend of mine - not the best sort of player, but I still tried to support what was good of them - and they found out my password. It was so obvious that I thought it wouldn't be obvious.

Another thing that could be considered creepy on FeralHeart are some of the outside links players will share. Make sure to get information on the link they shared before actually going to it. You might end up seeing something gross.

Some mate beggars can be down right disturbing at times - ones who ask for certain types of roleplays, if you get my drift.

It was huge success and a majority of the wedding party were able to attend! Ki almost didn't make it, but she managed to arrive right in the nick of time. A lot of drama; a lot of fun. I'll try to get everyone's screenshots combined and post them soon.

And thanks once again to everyone who was able to attend and those who granted us the best of wishes. c:

We were going to host it on our pack's map I believe, but Jake wasn't able to download it due to computer problems. So, we settled on Temple since it's usually quiet at that time and it gives everyone a chance to join in on the fun!

Game Discussion / Re: Nostalgia and Fond Memories

When I first played FeralHeart, I made a green and white winged sparkle dog named Llama. Some early day buddies and I (as Llama) made this fantasy wolf pack full of godmodders and marysues, but we all still had a lot of fun and I made a bunch of nice frienda from there.
Llama's appearance changed drastically from the first day I played her, and she actually doesn't have any wings anymore. For the longest time, her main colors were black and white, but I recently changed them back to green and white for old time's sake.
I also still play as her once in awhile, but never to roleplay. It just doesn't feel right, ya know?

Thanks so much you guys! A few of the wedding party might not be able to make it due to conflicting schedules, but we're sure it's going to be a lot of fun.

Game Help / Re: Mass Marking
« on: February 18, 2015, 06:11:38 pm »
You know the pure white characters in-game that are often dubbed as 'marshmallows'? They are wearing separately downloaded markings, often referred to as Mass Markings. The players wearing Mass Markings can see the markings that they downloaded, as well as anyone else who also has it downloaded. To those who haven't, they appear all white; without texture.
Any player can download Mass Markings, and it's rather simple to do. The most well-known marking pack is known as Mass Markings, the August 22nd update.
Here is the clicky link to Mass Markings Aug 22! Don't be alarmed when it sends you to Mediafire. If it sends you to Adfly, just click skip ad at the top corner. c:

To sum it all up:
- Mass Markings is popular downloadable markings pack for FeralHeart and contains a multitude of player-made marking textures.
- Mass Markings allows you to have more marking textures for your characters and see the textures that belong to most marshmallows!

Game Discussion / Re: Are you like your characters?

I can instantly say that I love playing my everyday roleplay character, Lament. She's fun, vivacious, flirty, and down right wrong, not to mention her horrible sense of dark humor and totally upside down morals.
When I first created her, my intentions were to make another ambitious antagonist. However, as I spilled a bit of my own thoughts and tweaks into her during the roleplay, she became a weird sort of antagonist, who in their own view was nothing more than a common character. She had feelings and need and wants as much as the next character, but her priorities were put in the wrong place due to her upbringing. Though, the folks who shortly began to surround her mostly evolved and shaped her personality into what it is today! In her community and pack, Lament is respected as a leader and a friend, which brings out the little good in her.
You could say that at first glance, Lament is nothing like me. I'm not interested in cannibalism or torture, nor would we even look alike if she became a human or I became a wolf. Though, deep down, our thought processes are the same. I am the one playing her at the end of the day after all.
