Thanks for making this! it helped a lot, even though I already had XQuartz and PlayOnMac!
I am having a bit of an issue though, every time I go on, it seems fine, but I am never able to connect with the map server. I think it is because it is set on the Direct3D9 video mode. Every time I change it to the OpenGL it crashes before I even get in! I am out of ideas and don't know what to do about it, thanks for the great guide though! It was fantastic while it lasted!
