Introduction / A veteran rises from the ashes
« on: July 06, 2016, 09:25:15 pm »
Hello all,

I've been around, and I kid you not, since the day the forums first opened; almost a month before the game was actually made playable (they were scheduled to go up in tandem, of course, but there were server difficulties, if I'm remembering correctly). I was only 11 then, and surprisingly enough, this is one of the few places I don't cringe about when I think of the posts I made 5 years ago. I'm 16 now and going into junior year in high school, and a lot has changed. One thing that hasn't changed, though, is my love of cartoons, animals, and cartoon animals. I've really improved my creative skills since I first joined the forums and draw regularly now, and I'm currently working on a webcomic. No traditional animal characters in it, but I am getting back into drawing animals again, so that's cool.

I'm mostly posting this because my work at the zoo reminded me of this place, since I'm based by the cheetahs. That, and there's no way anyone here now would remember me. So, hello there.

Actually, a comma can be used after "and" in a sentence, if it is used in a list. For example, "I like apples, bananas, and limes," is a complete and grammatically accurate sentence.

An excellent tutorial and very helpful for newbie roleplayers and English-learners alike~

Game Discussion / Re: A guide to wolfspeak and why you shouldn't use it
« on: September 11, 2013, 12:58:22 am »
Personally I do not and never will use wolfspeak, but I also think roleplayers who prefer to use it should be free to RP with it as they so desire. I think it's kind of cute and creative to come up with new meanings for words. Language can be played with and adapted, after all. If they want to use it, let them, and if you don't like it, simply don't roleplay with people who do.

Characters / Topaz
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:16:01 pm »

"A mutt composed mainly of Pomeranian and terrier genes,  and a little bit of who knows what else. Topaz loves eating, exploring, eating, swimming, eating, and eating. She detests irritating pups and cubs, irritating adults, irritating bugs, and irritatingly horrifying hybrids of all three." --in-game bio

Name: Topaz
Age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Breed: Pomeranian/terrier (probably Jack Russel) mix, with a few "fantasy" genes
Personality: Topaz is adventurous and fairly physically skilled, and is especially fond of swimming. She tends to roam about, joining in on whatever fun strikes her fancy. She's a bit of a snarker; Topaz won't hesitate to call you out on something she believes is stupid (be warned, that list is rather long). And don't depend on her to help you out of a tough spot is she doesn't know you well, as she'll pass right on by. However, her sense of humor is rather grand if you're lucky enough to get on her softer side. It has been observed that the fastest way to her heart is through food.

December 27th: I'm destroying Equestria with Angel. I always knew that rabbit had that glint in his eye...

My favorite is "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing". A bit scary, but still really well-written and pretty awesome.

Lost Silver scared the cheese out of me O.o

I ADORE rats, and rodents in general. I find them cute, clever, and interesting. Like any animal you find outsider, they're wild and aggressive, which is normal. Domesticated rats are adorable and fun to watch, and you can teach them loads of stuff.

My favorite animal is most definitely the jellyfish. They're just so elegant and peaceful~ Followed my the rest of the ocean's animals, and after that, domesticated canines.
