Discussion Board / Back to school!
« on: August 24, 2016, 01:32:21 am »
As you all know, school is about to begin/is going to/already did for some people! :) I wanted to wish you all another good year of hard studying and great new experiences! Remember to always stay positive throughout your journey, because everyone will and can succeed, even if you fail a few times. So what are your thoughts about school right now?

Oh and a bit of an update about me: I know I'm not active on the site and game anymore, and also possibly unknown by now... But this game will always be a part of my family as I have said for a 100 times, which I really mean. I don't know if you feel what I feel, but it's the urge to hug you all. Sorry for the exaggeration, but I haven't been here for awhile. x3 As usual, I'll always be around to help a hand and will do and risk anything to help anyone, which I really miss doing for the community.

Anyway, this is just a message to give you all my luck to you and your lives. <3

Game Suggestions & Ideas / Hall of Fame and Achievements
« on: June 22, 2016, 06:28:06 pm »
I don't know how I got this idea, but it sounds very fun and challenging, and it is something that can make users focus on as a goal and get more involved in the game and forum. Along with that, people get a mini achievement (like a badge in their profile), to represent their first accomplished achievements. For example, you start with a list of 10 challenges and you get an achievement once they're all done. There can be a total of a hundred challenges.

Some ideas for the hall of fame would be:

- The best roleplayers: You can link this to FHORD (FH official roleplay day), and you can do competitions between people for being the most creative and imaginative person.

- The most artistic: There are a lot of fantastic drawers here.

- Having the largest packs.

And more! You can share your ideas.

For achievements, you can have:

- Get 20 nuzzles.

- Get 50 nuzzles.

- Create an inspiring thread.

- Help 10 members within the forum or game.

- Spend at least 3 hours in the game on one map.

What do you think?

Introduction / Quick hello
« on: June 20, 2016, 11:18:27 am »
Hello floofs! I stopped by yesterday to see how everyone was going and I saw an astonishing update! <3 It's incredible so I hope you enjoy it and the staff did an amazing job. As you all know I left and I some of you might be thinking 'How many times did she leave and come back to say hi?', well, a heart like mine does not forget places where I spread love. I won't be returning though, I just like to come from time to time and my life is pretty busy right now. So if you continuously see my face here, it means I'm only visiting. I am really enjoying my life right now even if it's escalating quickly, I thank god I have everything. So how are you guys doing? :)

And as always, you can chat with me whenever you want if you wish! I am still open for anything you want to talk about. From relationships, clothes, weird things or anything you like! I never consider anything unusual.

Leaving / Leaving forever....for real...
« on: March 15, 2016, 04:03:18 pm »
This is sad...for me.

Thinking about how much I have been here and for how long, it really gives me good memories and I will treasure them forever. I know I am not the popular type or even the very wild one, but I did meet one of the greatest people to remember and did suffer for many users. I am leaving because of many reasons, and mainly because my studies are getting harder. The tension and stress is rising rapidly and if I make a small slip (as in slack off for an hour), my grades will drop. For every floof out there who is still under grade 10, please enjoy your life now as much as you can. Love every person you see, help, work hard and stay strong. I found out that it's not necessary to get angry when you start to mature in your path, because who ever you might of put your anger on, will soon be quickly fading away from your life.

Thank you for all you company and love that you have shared, you have never gone away from my heart. As I have said before, I know I might of been the silent one in the corner, observing more than talking but really I got to see the world much more clearly by that. Here are some messages:

1- For the people who stood up for me, you really are someone who is going to meet a point in life where you will hear: "I've never met anyone as bright as you." It's important to treat everyone as if you know them, because in the end we are all humans and we came from a common ancestor.

2- For the people who don't like me, I respect that but I prefer liking you back instead. I am not prepared to pass someone any day and doubt their appearance around me, you'll just be wasting your time having negative thoughts that aren't necessary. Don't act like you'll live forever. I know that doesn't sound amazing, but it is something which deeply means: "Do what will impact others positivity and that will reflect back on you. Don't focus on what might always make YOU happy, but others mostly." Believe me, I have always followed that and in all honesty I have never been taught by anyone to do these types of things, they just came from my maturity.

I don't know if I got deep here, but it's the truth. I don't know if you floofs might have interest in what my interests are but I love talking about myself to others since I'm very quiet. So one of my biggest interest is to become a psychologist but in the same time my creativity drove me more towards architecture and baking. I might become a person who offers help in a homeless shelter and become an architecture as my core job. I've got some ideas of making something big from that, and that would be to design homes for these people and offer them a push to the right path. My parents always told me to focus more on my needs than others but it made me bored, so I decided to the opposite and it made me happier. My second idea is to build a combination of a 'urban and rural city'. An urban city is a place like America where there are a lot of buildings, resources, etc. and a rural area is more like a village where nature and space is mostly found.

I know I typed a lot but.. it's my last day here so I am going to miss you guys a lot. </3 I cried while typing this because I don't want to leave, but it's for my own good.

I guess that's it... good bye.

Forum Games / How creative are you?
« on: February 21, 2016, 06:57:02 pm »
How creative are you?

Basically, the title doesn't get any clearer! :3 This game is to test your ability to use your creativity and floofs with any levels are allowed to join the game. Also, this will allow you to practice on your role playing (maybe?) so if you ever feel like writing for whatever reason, grab your keyboard and type away!

You will need to write down a small paragraph or so visualizing the word that the person before you has provided you with. For example:

Person 1(me): Death.
Person 2: Writes a descriptive paragraph visualizing a scene which would be appropriate for the word. After that, they write the next word for the next person such as 'Love'.
And so on...

There are no actual rules for this game but obviously make sure that no actual argumentative topics get involved. c:

Alright! Since the instructions are covered let's begin. My word is 'Happiness'.

Other Games / Undertale!
« on: February 06, 2016, 06:16:06 pm »
Hey, it's been a while!

Since I have been busy these days with school work, I have also been using the internet a lot in the same time and while I ventured through it, I found a game called Undertale. I will not release any spoilers, but I thought maybe some of you might be interested in getting it? It is , unfortunately, not free, but I can guarantee you that it's worth it. From what I've seen so far, it's awesome. Here is the trailer:

This is the website for more information :): http://undertale.com/

(By the way, you can also play the DEMO. It's the beginning of the story.

Here are some comics and animations that I personally like which is not part of the story, but have a very close meaning to it so don't worry, they're not spoilers either. So, enjoy!:

Member Bio & Journals / School is stressing again...
« on: January 20, 2016, 06:08:51 pm »
Hey floofies! <3 I wanted to make a quick update about myself because school stress has been increasing rapidly. It is much more difficult than the last term and my inactivity will be common from time to time. My life is just beginning now and I hate to say this but I miss being younger, growing up and being closer to my parents. I have become much more lonley because of so much work, and that is why I am telling you this because you are one of the best people I can stay with when I feel lonley. Not many 15 year olds (coming 16) will experience this immediately in my level, but before you jump into the learning pit I want everyone to know that you must enjoy life while it lasts. Don't waste your childhood life thinking about the negative sides about everything or how bad people might be, time is too short so use it wisely.

I'll come for a visit every now and then, but for the time being it's time to go out of my comfort zone and focus more on my future. I hope you feralheartians have a blessed future and keep smiling! <3

Miscellaneous Tutorials / Some in-game changes you can do!
« on: January 03, 2016, 09:01:06 pm »
Mini, in-game changes you can do!

I was just sitting down roaming the site and this suddenly came up in my mind. I thought that it wouldn't harm to look further into the Feralheart files such as the .cfg, .dll and .dat. So I made some research about them and apparently the .dll and .dat files hold the source codes of the game, and it can be opened using a program called .NET reflector which is a decompiler, and I am trying to figure out how I can open it so I am searching for some tutorials. Apparently it is a long process from what I've seen, so I will need some time until I give you an update about it! :3 Do not try this though, I don't want you damaging your game. I am trying this to see if it's possible to suddenly make a change because I can read some of the codes since I am working as a volunteer in game coding. In the mean time, enjoy these changes you can do!

1- Changing the bulletin into your own notes!

This can be useful if you want to remember anything for the next day, or someone has requested you to do something. To do this, it's simple.

1- Open 'bulletin.cfg' using Notepad.
2- Now remove all the sentences typed in there. If you would like to have a sentence or word underneath one, for example like this:
[Friday]
Meet my friend in Fluorite Plains.

[Sunday]
and so on...

I'll use this example, simply just type: [Friday]%Meet my friend in Fluorite Plains.%%[Sunday]%and so on...%.

You must use '%' to make it work and everytime you use one, it takes up a space.

and if you don't want any spaces, just type a normal sentences like you normally would without the '%'. The space is limitless so type as many things as you like! :) If you have any questions, please ask.

Work in progress.... (Working on something else at the moment, I will edit it soon! <3)

Community Activities Hub / Weekly conversations - Motivation and advice
« on: January 02, 2016, 04:09:46 pm »
Welcome!
Came for advice or a talk?

Thanks to many users for recommending me to do this, it will be a pleasure to do this weekly. <3 Basically I was thinking of doing a weekly conversation where you want to talk about anything you feel like you need to speak out to me or need advice for because I know that some users are having a bad time and need time to cool down. I think this is the best way to do it so you feel much more better! :3 Even if I say weekly, I will allow another day if you floof's enjoy it. I know I did a similar thread to this, but this time I will put all the things that some users might of missed if they did not attend (only the important information).

I made a good start now by going around the game and asking 50 users what they struggled with and need advice for. It might be crazy to do that, but I enjoyed it because some people where very upset and making them happy makes me happier too! Out of all of the conversations, only one user allowed me to put what they suggested - since asking them is more respectful. Although it was fun, it was also very time consuming because it took up to 4 hours. The conversations were long and some didn't want to stop talking to me, they were very sweet for sacrificing their time for me. <3 And so some of them asked me to make a thread, because I didn't actually. I only wanted to go round and make people happier, so I thank them for that!

If you're curious about what that one person suggested, here it is:
Conversation between me and "Abrioo":
Making new friends can come easy to some people, but to others it might take more work. This is because people can be more open than others and this user here isn't. But since she's meeting people online, this can work for anyone. The best way to show people online that you accept them to be around you is to act kind and show that you care by typing nice things and opening a fun conversation. People are mostly attracted to someone who is active and fun, because they show more emotions than quieter people do. Here is an example of an active opening and not so active opening:

Active: "Hey! Let's talk because you seem like a fun person. :) How about you introduce yourself first?"
In-active: "hi, do you want to talk?"

You can immediately see the difference so make the other person feel like you want to communicate and have fun.

When, where and what will we discuss?

- When?: This is the usual day where the conversations will be happening, but we can discuss it and change it if most users agree: Friday. I am trying to see which days you floofs don't have school or much work. :3

-Where?: Anywhere that makes you comfortable! I mostly recommend 'Temple of dreams' because there is no lag, not crowdy and spacious.

-What will we discuss?: I will put down a list of things that we are expected to talk about and don't worry floofs, I will always be ready to bump some things in the same conversation during the day because laughing is also something I aim for! <3 Here they are:

  • Dealing with misunderstood situations.
  • Discussing new years resolutions (I love this one!)
  • Dealing with arguments.
  • Relationships with other people - making them better?

Missed a conversation? Check here!
There is nothing yet, but there soon will be!

Thanks for reading and joining if you will!

This will also be a fantastic opportunity for me to get to know people! <3 It will approximately take up to an hour or an hour and a half, so I hope to see you there!

Much love, Rita.~
