Author Topic: Can't Open FeralHeart (Read 3264 times)

I've had FeralHeart for about 2 or 3 years now and it's always been on a Mac. My old mac, which had FeralHeart and it worked perfectly fine, broke around October. I now have the OS X Yosemite. (I can't remember what my old one was for the life of me...) FeralHeart worked on this version as well. A month or two ago, I couldn't open FeralHeart at all. I would click the game, it would flash on the dashboard on the bottom of the screen (Whatever it's called...), and then would close. I try reinstalling it but that doesn't work either. When I reinstall it, it'll ask me to download Wineskin again. I click yes and the game is gone from the bottom of my screen. Can someone help?

EDIT: I somehow got it to work. I re-dowloaded the installer a buncha times and one of them worked perfectly fine. Huh...

EDIT 2: Okay, I think I solved this problem! For me, I just restarted my computer and re-downloaded the installer. It worked! I'm so happy to have the buggy Lagfire back! :3

Try, looking in your downloads, it will pop up in there, Possibly.

Possibly try re-installing the program? This can happen on any computer, and any app. It happened for me with some app. I could never find out how to fix it because there wasn't a forum in english for it.

When I go to play FeralHeart, I go to my downloads.

I'll try to re-install Wineskin and FeralHeart again. I'm kinda worried if I can't fix this, seeing I have nothing else to do with my life. ;-;

AHHH!! SALVATION!! I re-downloaded the installer and it WORKED! Oh, how I miss this music so!!~~ Thanks for the help, guys!

I'm disappointed to say this, but, this problem hasn't been solved. I've un-installed the game, re-installed it, downloaded the installer again, yet, the same problem keep reappearing.

It'll ask me to open the game, I click yes, but instead of asking me to download wineskin, the game will close and cannot be opened again. I don't know if it's due to the fact I have maps, items, and mass markings, seeing the game always worked up until a few months ago.

Can someone please help me? I love this game and I truly wish I could play as my favorite characters, hear the wonderful music, and just relax and role-play with my friends again with any problems.

I'm not a Mac expert, but maybe try changing the rendering system from your actual FH folder. Open Ogre.cfg and wait for it to pop up. Then do the following:
