What's the largest mesh y'all can load without lag?
« on: September 10, 2017, 05:07:36 pm »
I'm asking since I have started making a large building mesh for a personal map, but want to keep it as one object.
That being said, what's the largest/most complex (or simply has the most bytes) mesh you guys can load and have your game run smoothly?

It's pretty annoying when you find a pretty map, but it makes your processor look like it's dying, y'know?
My goal is to make large maps with somewhat... minimal lag.

Please include mesh file size if you have a reply!  :D  :D

I'm not sure but... if you remove the mesh's own collisions it runs a lot better.

The closest concept in english would be 'rustic'
They might have an old thing, one example is a favourite bowl or dish, it's broken, pieces are missing, why fix it?  With gold and pieces from other dishes?
"Because it was my favourite & I like it"
