1. FH folder (where all FH files are stored) is default at the main drive (mostly C: ). You can get there by clicking start>my computer>C: .
2. You'll see when you are there.
3. a) you'll see, lol. b) rightclick on the heightmap (png image file) and choose copy in the menu that opens. Go back to the terrains folder, rightclick again, choose paste. c) rightclick your copied heightmap again, choose rename. Then enter the new name for the heightmap. d) Open gimp, drag the heightmap into the window.

Alright, let me tell you exactly what I did.
I loaded 'FeralHeart'
and then I clicked 'Tools' and 'Mapmaker'
I loaded the 'Watermill' map.
And now I can't do anything.
I don't know what to do, either.

You should create a new map anyways, since that is what you wanted to do c:

I AM Killer, I just didn't realize that I was logged in as Killer. Killer is my brother.

When you want to create a new map, open mapmaker, enter a new map name and display name in the two boxes at the top and save it. Then go and edit the blank map.
You can find everything in the documentation though, just the mask part is missing:
