clan | thunderclan
rank | warrior

appearance;; Given her slender looks, Fireflower excels in her speed and agility, granting her extra abilities for hunting well. The tradeoff is that she has much less resiliance in battle, and, though she has the wits to out move a larger, stronger opponent, she won't last as long as she would like to in a battle. Her thick pelt seems to cover up and smooth out her muscular body, giving her a more sleek appearance. Even though she may look like a good size and shape for running, her legs being long compared to her body, she has a shorter spine, so she actually isn't as fast as one would expect from her. In battle, she is resilient and dexterous, and her attacks bite hard. Her pelt is a multitude of matches of ginger and black, as if flames were scattered across a starless night, hence the first part of her name. She has a short, compact body, but long muscular legs. Her ears are just a bit on the small side, and have a nice point to them. On her nose, muzzle, neck, chest, and paws, she has patches of white.
PERSONALITY,
Fireflower can best be described as a serious, hard working she-cat known for always taking her jobs and duties seriously. Although she sometimes gets teased for this, she hasn't changed anything about it. On the contrary, Fireflower takes pride in her hard-working nature. She is so serious about her duties that she has a rather fierce, intimidating approach to it, but she is truly a gentle, amiable and caring warrior to her friends. Her aggressive attitude in work and duties can sometimes come off as overwhelming to some, scary to the others, and odd to the rest, but she is appreciated for her enthusiasm and determination about her duties as a warrior. She has shown a bit of pride for her talents in hunting and catching prey, and tends to feel jealous of others who claim to be the best at hunting, but never openly puts anyone else down about it. Actually, she loves kits and apprentices, and has a strong motherly instinct toward them. This also makes her an excellent mentor, and she has also taken it as a duty of hers to teach her apprentices and train them to hunt almost as well as herself. Hunting is her specialty, but she can hold her own pretty well in a fight for a little while.
HISTORY,
Even as a kit, Fireflower wanted to become train hard to become a great hunter, inspired when she learned that the warriors hunted every day, searching the forest and using their skills to feed the clan, which directly affected the clan's survival. Her two brothers were happy to let her dream about that while they made it their goal to become the greatest fighters. But Fireflower had a Starclan-given gift for hunting and capturing prey, and quickly become the best hunter of all the apprentices. By the end of her apprenticeship, she was one of the best hunters in the clan, if not the very best.
As a warrior, Fireflower was an excellent hunter, benefitting Thunderclan greatly, especially during leaf-bare. Fireflower could sniff out the prey with her sharp nose, and find and use the best tactic for capturing it. One of her dreams was to go on an adventure like that of the legendary cats, Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. She still holds this dream today.
Sandslash gender | female
age | 28 moons
clan | shadowclan
rank | warrior
STR;; 4.
STA;; 3.
DEX;; 3.
SPE;; 2.
APPEARANCE,
Sandslash is known for her pale colored pelt that matches the color of the sand on the shores of the lake. What sets her apart from other pale tabbies is that her stripes are of a soft, auburn color. In shape, Sandslash is not the most flattering she-cat. Although she is not buff, instead having a more lean body, she has rugged muscles, and her pelt is rough like the sand its color matches. Her green eyes are a dull, yet soft olive color, as if symbolizing that there is more to her personality than what you see outside. Sandslash has shorter legs than most cats, but the difference isn't too obvious. Shorter also are her ears and tail, but again, not a huge difference. She has the white tabby markings on her muzzle, around her eyes, and on her paws. She has needle sharp claws, aiding in her violent fighting techniques.
PERSONALITY,
Sandslash defies her gender's usual stereotyping rather easily. With her rough body and rough demeanor and tough personality, one might possibly even mistake her for a tom. Her personality on the outside is that of a tough tomboyish she-cat who sometimes even uses that tough act to get her way most f the time and get through issues physical and mental. The tougher a situation, the harder her heart gets in order to protect herself. Though we all know that really on the inside, she is just trying her best to protect her heart, Sandslash seems to take the whole defensive thing to a new level. She is slow to trust in other cats, even those from her own clan. In battle, she has excellent, aggressive fighting instincts, and doesn't need to be told even once to go out there and destroy her opponents.
HISTORY,
Sandslash led an average life from the time when she was born and was known as Sandkit. Despite her cold personality now as a warrior, she used to be much more optimistic as a kit. Sandslash even then, though, was a more quiet, reserved she-cat. She got along very well with her sister, Beechfur, who was known as Beechkit at the time, but as the elder sibling, Sandslash had always seemed to be one step ahead of her sand-colored littermate. Sandslash always won their wrestling matches, and never let her sister forget it. She used to flaunt her pride all the time, but was a hard working apprentice who took her job seriously, though seemed to never let anyone outdo her. At first, her sister, Beechfur had always just looked up to Sandslash as a rival to compete with at every chance she got. But no matter how hard Beechfur tried, she could never seem to surpass or even match up to her sister's skills, and the fact began to frustrate her to no end.
Sandslash used to even tease Beechfur about it, though for the most part, Beechfur was tolerant of it. But during their assessments, Sandslash seemed to ace all the assessments, and although she also brought back a decent amount of prey, Sandslash's overwhelmingly greater size of catch put Beechfur further in the shadow of her sister, and Beechfur did not pass her first assessment, leaving her to remain an apprentice, and Sandslash to move on to become a warrior. During the ceremony, Sandslash wondered why Beechfur was sitting towards the back of the group, and why she couldn't hear her sister chanting her new warrior name. During the vigil, Sandslash only caught a glimpse of hate filled eyes from her sister. After the warrior ceremony, Sandslash went immediately to see her sister, and was terribly surprised when Beechfur suddenly snapped and told her sister everything from the very beginning and how she felt. The talk turned into an argument, and ended with "I hate you!"'s coming from both sides. But the two sisters walked away from the argument with heavy hearts, both feeling guilty for their words and actions.
To this day, Sandslash has never forgiven herself for the way she acted and treated her sister during their kit and apprentice days, and for the words she said to her sister. Beechfur did eventually become a warrior, but has never forgiven herself for her jealousy and hatred toward her sister, and for the things she told her sister. Now the two sisters almost never speak or do anything together if they can help it, and talk between them is overly polite and foreign, as if they hardly know each other.
Thistleclaw gender | male
age | 32 moons
clan | windclan
rank | warrior
STR;; 2.
STA;; 3.
DEX;; 2.
SPE;; 5.
APPEARANCE,
The first thing you will notice about Thistleclaw is his tall build, giving his very mature, stern and serious features an even more elevated look. Standing proud and tall on his long, flexible limbs, there's no mistaking that he is of Windclan blood. The way he holds his head and tail may seem intimidating at first, but a mature and serious facial expression is all that really is intimidating about him, while seeming even more intimidating due to his height. However, after you've taken your first look at him, you realize that he's just your typical dark cinnamon/gray tabby tom, his nose, toes, and back of ears flecked with a tinge of chestnut brown.
Obviously, Thistleclaw is very fast. His physique will immediately remind you of a cheetah, and he lives up to the image well. With powerful lungs, and long, yet strong legs, so well muscled for hard core sprinting, he excels as a true runner. His stamina is average, but it is in the durability area that he lacks in. Naturally, as a runner, he has little need for the extra weight, including that which comes in the form of muscle, therefore he does not do well in a battle of strength. And as mature and calm as he is, he has the wits to go with it all and back it up.
PERSONALITY,
Thistleclaw is more or less one of those "cool" and "mature" characters who doesn't say much. But if you pester him into talking, you'll probably just have a very annoyed cat on your hands. He doesn't like opening up to others, even those from within his clan. The only one he really has opened up to is his younger brother, tall, but not as tall as himself. But Thistleclaw's habit of refraining from ever saying anything seriously threatens have him leading a dull life, if it weren't for his brother, the only one who can ever get him to do much of his own will and freedom. Thistleclaw, a loyal cat down to the last drop of warrior blood, will do everything the leader and deputy of Windclan tells him to, without question or comment, so he can certainly be trusted to follow orders and see to it that a job, no matter how important, gets done.
But when those of lessor rank than him, such as new warriors, apprentices, kits, and even queens, try to say anything to him, you can't be sure whether he even heard them, and if he did, you can't be sure whether he's gonna consider it at all. He won't disrespect elders, but he still won't acknowledge them much, which gets him quickly on their bad side. In fact, he tends to lose friends as quickly as he gains them, not of his doing, because when others talk to him, sometimes he might just walk away with out batting an ear, leaving them still talking mid-sentence.
The few who have ever seen him smile are his mother and brother, and even then he has only smiled a few times, playing with his brother or being cuddled by his mother as a kit. It's hard to know what's going on in this cool tom's head. He's had she-cats running up to him as quickly as they run away hissing, without having ever said a word or shown any emotions about it.
HISTORY,
Thistleclaw was a calm, quiet tom even as a kit. But it was those innocent days that were the few times that he ever smiled: when his mother was giving him a bath as she told him how one day he was going to grow up big and strong with his brother, and become the coolest warrior in Windclan, and when he and his brother play-fighted together, and he won. He wasn't close with his father, but from afar, he admired his father, a tall, dark gray tabby like himself, handsome and strong.
It was during his apprentice days that his mother was killed, chased by a sheep-dog over into the Gorge. He had been playing with his brother in the camp when the warriors returned with his mother's body. Some say that ever since then was when Thistleclaw stopped showing any emotion or speaking aloud.
Now that his brother has become the leader of Windclan, Thistleclaw still doesn't speak much at all. He continues to do his chores every day, and watches his brother from afar proudly.
Darkfeather gender | male
age | 20 moons
clan | riverclan
rank | warrior
STR;; 4.
STA;; 2.
DEX;; 4.
SPE;; 2.
APPEARANCE,
Darkfeather can easily be seen as a handsome tom. His pure black pelt and white paws, neck, and chin give him a very sophisticated, elegant appearance. He is handsome, and he knows this very well, and is quite proud of it. He gives his sleek, shiny black pelt a thorough grooming at every break time and after every meal or patrol. His efforts have paid off, though, and his pelt is almost the silkiest, softest thing you'll ever touch in all the clans, and can be compared to a kit's nest. Being a Riverclan cat, his fur is a bit more oily than a usual cat to keep himself warm and his fur waterproof, although even compared to other Riverclan cats, Darkfeather's pelt is a bit more oily then that. He keeps his pelt nice and shiny 24/7, and nothing puts him on edge more than having a bad fur day. He usually will be unwilling to do anything until his fur is looking its best, which gets him into trouble sometimes.
Now unlike almost all solid black cats, Darkfeather has bright blue eyes. They are neither a dark or dull or a pale or icy blue, but a pure in between hue. Darkfeather has an elegant figure, and though he is not the tallest of toms, he has long, slender limbs, and under his soft pelt are rather uncharacteristically well-developed muscles. Darkfeather never shows them off though, and finds them unattractive, and instead moves with grace than with strength and power.
PERSONALITY,
The most obvious trait of Darkfeather's personality would undoubtedly be his love for beautiful things. He prides himself in his fashion, and in his efforts to make his shiny black pelt look splendid and beautiful. As such, his passion in life is in his looks. Darkfeather, unlike most boys his age, or any age for that matter, is not ashamed of his passion for beauty and fashion, nor of using it, making himself quite the amazing oddity.
Only complimenting his love for beauty, Darkfeather has a disdainful hatred of battling, thinking battles to be barbaric, and that they make his fur get all dirty, something that is horrifying to him. The irony is that he is an excellent battler, and is rather strong in his talents for fighting. This does not draw on his skills for keeping his fur so shiny either, though, which he is talented in as well.
As all characters, Darkfeather has flaws, but interestingly enough, he has a colorful assortment of them. Although he has started to try to be fairer and less judgemental, he has shown to approve of more graceful cats over the "ugly" ones. You can't keep him away from a splendid shiny shell in the water, while you could probably never convince him to get his paws into the mud. This little trait of his has gotten him into trouble, but it is just the way he is.
Darkfeather tends to keep things to himself more often then naught, for reasons of his own. For example, he actually tries, and has so far succeeded, in hiding his real skill in fighting battles from the rest of the Clan for the longest time, until the day Riverclan is forced into battle again.
HISTORY,
Darkfeather was born in Riverclan from the start. He and his five siblings were the largest litter that the clan had ever gotten. Living among five other siblings, Darkfeather didn't stand out as much, but that never bothered him except in the category of looks. Even from the very beginning, he was always the oddly prissy one. But back then, Darkfeather was very different.
Darkfeather actually used to be proud of his strength. He was always the winner when he and his siblings played games like "Shadowclan tresspassers" and "Catch Prey". His strength in fighting looked very promising, and his parents had high hopes in him to become a fine warrior of Riverclan. This was until the accident when his life all shifted gears and began moving in the other direction.
In a wrestling match with his siblings, he got so competative and excited, that a shove from him sent his sister tumbling off the edge of the island and nearly to her death in the river if it weren't for his parent's coming to save her. Not only could he not forgive himself for it, but Darkfeather began to hate his strength and fighting skills, and vowed to become a more gentle brother to his sister.
Having focused on that vow ever since then, Darkfeather's attitude about nearly everything changed, leading him to be the strange tom he is today.
