Game Help / In Game Chat puncuation troubles?

This one might need a bit of explaining.

So, this used to not be an issue for me. But in the game chat, for some reason I am unable to use puncuation like '' or ^^ which can be quite frustrating. The UI I'm using is like this:



Would this be a factor? Please let me know!  :)

The tale of my wonderful Drekkubus.

NB || 5'7 || Reserved at first.. but not really.

An odd one, I know. But the Drekkubus species is something I honestly hold dear to my heart. And yeah, scream furry if you want but that's not even the main reason I chose this species as a main to begin with.

Design Lore: Hetsch is a character that kinda represents me, and what I like. Horns, MASSIVE ears, huge tail, based on cats respectively, bright colours and a 'pick-me' attitude. They have so much lore, different variations and I just adore the options given by the creator to really make each drekkubus unique and personalized.

Name Lore: 'Hetschaeffer' was something random made up by half me, and half my friend for a name of my horse on Alicia Online. But the name stuck, and eventually represented something different. It has no official meaning from what I know, and is completely random. But that's okay ^^ It was kinda 'inspired' by just- my mini obsession with the german-era from my history class I had in the 9th grade or something, and I wanted a german SOUNDING name, but no official german names stuck so we kinda made one up. If there was any actual meaning behind our reasons, I have no clue what it is now.

About the Character: Outside of myself for a moment- Hetschaeffer is a character who's the type to really sneak up on you. Like the extroverted stranger who just sits themselves right down next to a loner and claims them as their new best friend. And guess what? They make it work. That is partially my reason behind the bright design. Other than that, complete forager. Likes to explore, always in places where they shouldn't be and somehow turns even the worst situation into at least a decent one. But they're in your face, a lot. Hetsch isn't some character in their own world that could be written as a novel, with mega lore and deep personality, connections, etc. They're kinda just- me, but not me. An alter ego, of sorts. Based in reality, and their story expands with every new chapter that comes irl for them. Likkkeee THIS NEW COMMISSION I GOT OF THEM ARENT THEY AMAZING?

Anyways, hope you liked them! Kinda not descriptive, but that's the point I think.  :)

Sooo... official introduction, why not?? Might get some of the essentials out of the way.

Alright, well. Hey again! I'm one of those returning long time users, but primarily from playing the game. I kinda regret not using the forum back then, could've earned some serious nostalgia points. ;;
No time like the present though! Basics about me is that I'm an artist. I don't have anything to show yet on an official website or anything.. but once I gain confidence.. might just take a shot at deviantart. Overall, I have a creative tick. Right-minded, so my main interests involve drawing, singing, music, and anything of the like. Although I've got other things on my agenda too.

One of my childhood favourites? Pokemon. I've always loved games that really let you explore, but also have a strategic and built side to them, yknow? Quite some time ago in 2017 was when I discovered the Danganronpa series, and while I always loved murder mysteries in the past, that franchise really took it to a WHOLE different level I'll tell ya.
In 2018 onward, for some unexplained reason I took up a love for technology that pertained to pre-established interests. An example? Well, digital art so drawing tablets! Gaming so.. PC Specs! FH MV's- (yikers) so.. video editing! All three of those things are oddly dear to my heart.

Alright wrapping up on a whim, another thing to note is my introverted nature. Which- this might sound contradictory, but I really do like getting new chances to meet people. And giving chances myself. I enjoy social interaction, I just tend to struggle with it sometimes, if you get me? (Of course you do this is a freaking FH forum site).

Introduction / Finally returning, what's new?

Wow, it's been forever since I've actually been here. And so much has happened.
Hello! My name is Hetsch/Alek. I've been on this game since 2013/2014 and while I've never hopped onto the forums until now, I really hope you're all doing well and staying safe during this time.

A little bit about me~
Surprise, Aussie here. I've grown up in Australia all my life, although I was originally adopted from Russia as a baby (only speak English though, sorry!). I've always had a love for music, gaming, drawing and writing. Some of my favourite games are:

- No Man's Sky
- The Witcher Series
- Resident Evil
- God of War
- Alicia Online
- Primal Carnage
- Shelter 2
- Oneshot
- Undertale

and many more, of course. ^^
