Hello, and welcome back to FeralHeart! The problem you're encountering can be solved by following this link here and replacing everything in you're FeralHeart folder with the new files in the newly downloaded folder, and it will solve the problem! ^^

Wow thank you SO MUCH!!! It finally let me in!!

I'm a long time player of the game and I've decided to revisit the game and bring back all the nostalgia! I completely uninstalled my existing version of the game. I re-installed it, yet it is still telling me I need to install the latest patch. Does the game not already contain the latest patch version when you initially install it?? I would think it would... I have even tried installing the patch separately, and try to replace it with the patch that was initially installed with the game and it is not letting me replace it by dragging and dropping. It only gives me the option to open the patch. HELP!!

Also, the new patch never shows up as "FeralHeart.exe" on my computer. It just shows up as "FeralHeart" .  :-\

Oh yeah, I need to add this because this just happened, making it worse. Even after deleting all the campfire download files, AND restarting my computer twice, I can no longer get on feralheart. It still says "feralheart.exe has stopped working." I'm now crying. This is so horrible. No matter what I do I can't get my feralheart to work again.

This has happened to me before so I restarted my computer and redownload and reuploaded the mesh to Feral-Heart. This solved my problem but also make sure there are no extra or unneeded particle files for this can screw it up also. Hope this helped...
see, no extra files etc. it's all perfect.

Here is the problem. I have had my feralheart say "Feralheart.exe has stopped working" one other time, and until we got a new computer, I couldn't play it, or anything for 5 months. I get super upset when something like this happens. Okay. Now to the real problem. Today I just got finished downloading Thiery's campfire mesh. It worked perfectly. Next thing I know, I go back into the game so that I can resume making my newest map, so I can finally put my new campfire mesh in it. When the game starts up, it gets no farther than the black screen at the beginning, and says "Feralheart.exe has stopped working. Windows will notify you for a solution if found." WTF? I am NOT on any circumstances uninstalling the game. I have several presets on there that took me weeks. Not only presets, but maps, and other meshes. I am in desperate need for help here! Note: If I don't get this thing working, I will end up crying myself to sleep every night because I can no longer get on feralheart. lol. This has never happened before when downloading meshes. Ever. I'm am very upset already......please help! Thanks!                                      ~Tivio

Game Help / Re: Wolf preset fur texture. Not working!?
« on: May 19, 2013, 09:22:12 pm »

Try checking that body fur texture file and make sure that it has a dimension of 512 x 512. In the sixth screenshot the texture looks as though it is expanded or zoomed into. It could just be a size issue. If that doesn't work link me the file so I can check it out myself.
Okay I just re-sized it to 512x512 and I'm going to try and see if it will copy and paste in correctly. If not I will let ya know ^3^ thank you so much! Greatly appreciate it Sura!:)

Game Help / Wolf preset fur texture. Not working!?(SOLVED)
« on: May 19, 2013, 07:58:18 pm »
This has been going on for quite some time now. I downloaded ToXiC_FUR realistic wolf texture. I did everything right by replacing the old wolf textures with the new ones. The head texture and tail texture work just perfectly, but it's the body that is giving me great trouble. This stresses me out so much and angers me right down to the bone. I can't stand it anymore and I am not really getting any answers on how to fix this. Please help :c I want my preset done :c                       ~Tivio
