Posting Session Timed Out?

Whenever I attempt to post something, anything, I press 'post' and above it shows red letters saying "Your posting session timed out. Please try to re-submit your message."

So, I have to log out and back in to submit it. Why does this happen? I understand it isn't huge, but it is fairly annoying and I'd like for it to stop.

I also have my login time set to forever. Any help would be appreciated.

This use to happen to me all the time, that is, until I switched internet browsers.
Do you use Internet Explorer by any chance? I use to, but now I use Firefox- it never happens now! ;S;

You could also add FH to your browser's 'Password Remeber List.'

Normally when this happens to me, I don't need to log out and re-log back in. I believe all ye' need to do is press that 'Post' button again and it should post without ye' havin' to log out.

@AlphaEclipse; I use Google Chrome, I don't want to switch. I had an account before, and it never did this. And Password Remember List... maybe Google Chrome has that.

@Vespian; I do. When I press post again, it just refreshes the page to the "your posting session timed out" crap.

Try this option quoted by Ms. Sameth to a user who had a similar problem. Perhaps it'll provide a satisfyin' outcome:

When this happens to me I close my browser and reopen it, this tends to fix it.

@Vespian; Hmm, I have closed and re-opened my browser quite a bit during the day and when I turn my computer off, but the problem still persists. It always happens to me.

Would re-starting the browser clear the problem forever, because that is what I'm trying to accomplish.

Hmm, maybe clear browser cookies and history then log in? I'll try to look for more solutions.

I don't even know why a posting session is necessary even.

Most people tend to just log out and back in to solve the problem, sometimes it is also to do with browser cookies, you just may need to clean them out if the first option didn't work.
