It's ok! Many people don't know how to X3

If you go to either Photobucket or TinyPIC then you can upload your image there and use either:

IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards

or

Direct Link for Layouts

If you use the direct link, then all you need to do is:

Code: [Select]

Once you have done that, just post it in your topic/signature/post ^^ hope this helps!

Paint isn't something you use to upload pictures. It's just something like GIMP - to create drawings or save pictures into your folders, etc.

What Buffy is saying is that you can use Tinypic or Photobucket to upload pictures from your computer. If you need further explanation look at the tutorial below.

Quote
-From your computer - Uploading images -

Now to uploading images from your computer/laptop, etc. So save the picture you want to upload, and make sure you remember what folder you placed it in. Go to TinyPic or some website that can upload images you like. I'm going to use TinyPic since it's the main tool I use. Click "Upload image" and search for the image you would like to upload. After uploading the image, copy:

After you have copied it, paste it into your post and it should appear as an image.

-End-

The second part Buffy mentioned (Direct Link for Layouts) is basically taking the url from the image and pasting it into the code she provided.

Quote
- Taking a image from the web -

Say you're browsing through the google images, and you see something nice show up:

So I want to post the image in a random RP. So I would just right click it, look down till I see "Copy image URL".
Click that, then return to your post. Paste the url image there, but before the url image, type in:

Code: [Select]

However, replace the 'INSERT URL HERE' with the url you have copied. Thus, it would look like this:

Code: [Select]

-End-

I'm not sure if I explained this a bit more. If not, my apologizes. Otherwise, good luck^^

Tinypic/Photobucket are just websites. They're not computers, iPads, etc. Furthermore, both of them are free, only that Photobucket requires you to sign up, but that's all.

EDIT: Links: TinyPic - Click me and Photobucket - Click me.

Either one. c: If you prefer a free website that does not require sign up, I'd go with tinypic.

Just an add on - there are many more uploading-websites such as imgur (much quicker), but it's really your choice. ^^
