So here's the problem I'm having. I got the OGRE issue, changed it, still had issues, and was directed here. I followed your instructions to a T, till I tried to discover what my graphic card is... My System Information doesn't list anything...

Its small, I apologize for that. But you can see Display is highlighted and nothing is in the box beside it. I was given the computer as a gift only two months ago, its a Dell Inspiron E1505. My grandmother owned it before me and used it for her Bejeweled like games and very little else.

Do you know of any other way to figure out what Graphic Card it has? If I can figure it out, I can find the drivers for it..

Go to run again and type in

"dxdiag" without the "". Should be a display tab there aswell.

I'm not sure what to do now to be perfectly honest. xD

You can find them in computer>harddrive>FeralHeart   If u look around depends on setting u want. There is emotes one there, game settings and if ur looking for the one use to solve a problem by switching "OpejGL" to "Direct3D9"  go into ogre.cfg open it with notepad if it asks for program and there u can switch the settings :)

I opened it but I got text like this:

Quote
Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
Anti aliasing=None
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

There's no OpejGL but there's that direct thing... So, what should I change?

Corneille:

When you have the Notepad open, you change the following:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem           < - You'll be making the change just to this line.
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
Anti aliasing=None
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

With Changes:

Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem                 < - You change the OpenGL to Direct3D9
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
Anti aliasing=None
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

The rest except for that first line stays the same.

eep. This seems to be out of my league, But you are most likely using an on board graphic card without any drivers at all. Do you have any information papers on which onboard graphics it is using? And do you have the complete name of the computer. Not only manufacturer but series aswell?

Here is all I could pull up on the information on the computer. I did get papers and stuff with the computer, but I recently moved and couldn't tell you where they are.

I didn't see anything on the bottom of the laptop that would be useful.

The screenshots is good, but if we'd be able to move anywhere we would probably need some sort of name. There's quite a few dell computers out there, example "Dell Inspiron 640m or E1505", and trying to pick out some drivers can be very difficult.

Atleast for me since I'm not the cleverest.

Maybe something intresting is displayed in the bios but I somehow doubt it.
