CharChar has been my fursona for many years and only recently has been replaced by Rusty and Velocity. Even though he isn't my fursona any more he still has a ton of history behind him and he is still very important to me.  Years ago when I was active here on the feralheart forums I got many, many requests from many artists to draw him

Snow Shoe
Snow Shoe is a character I created a long time ago. During this time I was very nervous about monsters. I wouldn't want to leave my room at night. Once I spend a hour in my bathroom because I was so scared to leave and go back to bed.  Snow Shoe was a way to feel more safe. It was like an imaginary bodyguard that made me feel like I wasn't going to be harmed.

Velocity Kapcoon
Velocity was meant to just be an OC but I got attached to her so quickly she became my second fursona.  My friends were making raptor hybrids and I wanted to join in. I got stuck between mixing her with a kangaroo or a raccoon so I decided to do both. A kapcoon is a utah raptor, raccoon and kangaroo hybrid

RustHeart's Art Shop and Requests



Welcome to my page of art! Here you will find many different works I have competed as well as information on getting a commission or entering to get a request.

Requests are done when I have time and which one I work on depends on what I feel like doing, not by order. If you would like to guarantee getting work from me please condenser commissioning me.  Commissions will always be done before requests and you will get a say in how it looks. For example people getting commissions get to see sketches and can ask for as many changes as the want while people getting requests will see no sketches, I will make what I feel like based around what you suggest.

I will also do art trades. An art trade would be treated like a commission however you would pay for it by doing art for me. Both people would agree on the type of art and would send sketches of our work and such. If you are interested in doing this please message me.  Art trades are done before requests and after commissions.

I usually use firealpaca for art but I can't help to go back to my roots and draw on MS Paint every once in awhile.

Rusty is my main fursona, she is a domestic short hair house cat.  I tried a different style with muzzles in this one.


Inkstone
I like to roleplay as AU characters from Undertale. Ink!Sans was created by comyet and is one of my favorites. Inkstone is a character I created which is a 'glitched' version of Ink.  This is my first finished drawing of a skele I have made that I actually liked.


New Program
This was my first time using FireAlpaca rather than MS Paint. This drawing is old and is my first finished drawing on the new program for me. I like comparing what I can do now and what I could do then.

Drawing skele's is pretty hard for me, so that means I got to keep drawing them until I can do it well!  Photo is my own version of Sans.


New Artists - Don't Give Up
No matter how 'bad' you think you are at art if you keep going you will get better. You can't improve if you don't draw,
 everyone starts off as a newbie, everyone.  I hate when I see new artists compare their art with other artist who have been drawing much longer and think they aren't good enough. That 'good' artist started off the same way you have and they are where they are because they didn't give up!

I am pretty bored and out of ideas to draw so I am very likely to do your request. So um, please give me ideas.
Art requests are done when I feel like it and are done in whatever order I like. One could be a fullbody drawing while others can just be a headshot. It depends on how I feel and how much I want to work on a drawing.
In order to get a request please post a reference of your character and write a bit about the character's personality or what you would like to see in the drawing. A certain expression or pose or something.
Just because you put in a request does not mean I will do it. It depends on how many other requests are there and how motivated I am.
I can do most animals. Feral and anthro. I can attempt Undertale style skeletons but I am still not that great with them. I can do NSFW but you must message me on fA for such things.

Game Help / All my canines have pure black heads and tails (FIXED)

What on earth happened!? This happened to all my canine characters, my felines look fine.  This happened right after I added a new preset but that shouldn't have done anything, I didn't mess with the markings.
Looks like all the people in the game also have this for me.

My own version of Sans.


First time roleplaying as Error.  Had a fight with Ink!Sans.

Characters / Rusty's Characters

I have many different characters, some are for roleplay while others are fursonas or just characters I use to mess around on.  I will add pictures soon!

CharChar
CharChar is a small serval with a dark blue coat and a even darker undercoat.  He has large rounded ears, a long and thin body and legs and a small stubby tail.  He has brown eyes and a purple nose as well as purple paw pads.  His left side has white spots, typical of the serval species.  His right side has no markings other than a bright red ear.
CharChar has been my fursona for many years.  I have always loved cats and started getting into the world of roleplay after reading the warriors books by Erin Hunter.  CharChar started out as a typical fluffy blue cat that evoluved into something more detailed.  Last year I decided to change his species from a domestic cat to a serval.  CharChar has an altered version of my own personality.  He is more friendly and has a better attention span then I do.  He has his flaws, but his personality is what I wish I had.

Rusty
Rusty is my main fursona, only coming into creation last year and very quickly taking CharChar's spotlight.  She is a domestic cat with a body shape similar to CharChar's old design.  She has a wide, slightly pushed in face with smaller legs and a long fluffy tail.  She is a short hair, but her tail is long and fluffy like a long hair.  She is a torti and white with green eyes and pink paw pads and nose.  Her front paws are white but her back paws are black.  Her back legs have orange 'stockings'.  She has a white underbelly and a white stripe down her back.  She has two orange spots over her eyes.  Her ears are orange and her left ear has a white tip.
Rusty has my personality through and through, no changes at all.  She is purely me.

Snow Shoe
Snow Shoe is a character I made a very long time ago.  He is a vorox, a species I created.  He is a hybrid of a forest vorox and a snow vorox.  He is large, about the size of a great dane.  He has a thin body though, with thin and long legs meant for running.  He has a long tail with a sliver point at the end like all vorox.  He is dark tan all over with no markings other than his white legs.  He has pure blue eyes, no black or white in them at all.  They glow softly.  He has light pink paw pads and nose.  He wears a bandanna around his head that is a faded pink color. Snow Shoe is blind but can see using echolocation.
Snow Shoe is kind and friendly, often going out of his way to make friends.  But he isn't stupid, he knows who is a threat and who isn't.  He is very strong and a good fighter.  He is protective of his pack mates and will fight even if his life is on the line for them.  Snow Shoe is the second in command of his pack.  The leader is Simon, a vorox he actually raised himself.  Snow Shoe is stronger than Simon, but lacks leadership skills.
Snow Shoe's relationships
(All these characters are owned by me and are used in my storyline for vorox)
Simon - Snow Shoe and Simon are long term friends and respect each other.  Simon often goes to him for advice.
Malik - Like Simon, Snow Shoe has a great disliking for this troublemaker.  He doesn't often speak to him, but keeps a close eye on him.
Jenini - Snow Shoe encourages this youngling to break away from Malik, his mentor, and hopes he will not develop the same kind of hateful temperament.  He sees a lot of hope in Jenini.
Lucky - Snow Shoe and Lucky are both older members of the pack and are often seen together.  In the past Snow Shoe helped Lucky when he went blind in one eye.
Mist - Snow Shoe often struggles to keep this wild apprentice in line.  But he is her mentor and he must find some way to get through to her.
Dusty -  Snow Shoe wishes Mist would spend less time with Dusty and that Simon would spend more time training his own apprentice more.  He dislikes his rude and annoying behavior and feels like he is a bad influence on Mist.

Code Red, Code Blue, Error
This is a character that i did not make myself.  This is a undertale AU character made by 'LoverOfPiggies'.  Though the Error I roleplay as and the Error seen in LoverOfPiggies' comics do differ and you should not take any of this information as fact as none of it is cannon.
Error is a version of Sans that got stuck in the anti void and like his name suggests, became an error.  He can be violent and will often pick fights with others.  He is socially inept and just looks around very confused if anyone does anything he doesn't understand, usually when someone cries or is upset.
As a joke, Error has claimed all the trees to be his and gets mad if anyone sits in them.  He even goes as far as calling himself 'Tree!Sans' sometimes.  He's serious about keeping people out of his trees to, even threatening to fight Reaper!Sans once because he refused to get out of the tree. 
Error's Relationships
(These are all people I have interacted with and i do not own the characters)
Ink!Sans - Error hates him.  After all, Error destroys Aus and Ink creates them.  Ink seems unwilling to fight him and Error gets very annoyed by that.
Code Red - Error has a kind of love-hate relationship with Red.  He will tease him and be rude to him.  But if someone other than Error messes with him, he will defend him.  Error does get concerned when Red glitches.
Code Blue - Awkward......
Flowey - Error for some really odd reason likes to just randomly sit on him.
(As a side note.  Code Red is a errored version of Underfell Sans and Code blue is an errored verison of Underswap Sans)

Species / The Vorox

The Vorox
Basic Information
The vorox is a very large canine like animal.  This species comes from a different planet where all living things are robots.  Vorox have fur and look like a normal animal until they are damaged.  They have sliver teeth and a grey tongue.  Any wounds they would have are also sliver.  Their blood is a shiney grey color.
Vorox have a very long tail, about the same length as their whole body.  At the tip is a sliver point that can inject venom into a target.  The only way to tell a female from a male is that the tip is a lighter shade of grey if it is female.
Vorox are both prey and predator which means they do have other animals that hunt and kill them but they also hunt animals.  They have very long legs for reaching high speeds while running to escape predators.
Vorox are omnivores.  They mostly eat plant life but can also eat smaller prey animals if needed.  Vorox are intelligent enough to grow plants in gardens, but not smart enough to build buildings and tools.

Body structure
Vorox have long legs and a very long tail.  Their tail is long and thin.  They have large and thick heads with a slow slope down from the top of their head to their muzzle.  This is to help wind glide across their face easier when they are running.  They are large ears that are pointed backward to keep sand from getting into them.

Weaknesses and strengths
Vorox are very fast and can usually outrun any dangers.  They are smart to, easily remembering any areas they have been in.  They can map out tunnels and forests in their heads and remember it for a very long time.
Vorox will freeze up or panic if they see fire.  They also hate water and will only be near it if they need a drink.  They cannot swim.
If the end of their tail is cut their own poison will get into their body.

Creation
Though there are males and females, they cannot breed and create new vorox.  Vorox are created by ‘matercans’ which are sentient creatures that look like big light blue balls.  They are like factories that slowly create vorox.  They can make two a year.  They are protective and will attack anyone that gets near them with vine-like attachments.  They can speak and usually have a feminine voice.


Mentors and apprentices
When a vorox is ‘born’ they are very small and helpless.  Without the help of an adult vorox, they would die.  The thing is, having to care for a baby vorox is hard work and without some persuading, they wouldn’t take them.  If an adult vorox gets too close to a matercan while they are nearing completion of a vorox, they will be captured.  Matercans have the ability to alter the programing of a vorox so that if they attempt to leave the child or harm them they will feel a pain in their skull.  They have no ability to not care for them once this is done.  The adult would be called the mentor and the child is the apprentice.  The mentor must care for and train the apprentice.  This effect wears off once the apprentice reaches one year old.

Breeds
There are three different breeds.  Usually these breeds live separately.  The Shyon Pack is very rare because all breeds are accepted with open arms.


The sand vorox is the most common.  They are also the strongest and largest.  They have a light tan fur color and can have brown or very light tan markings.  They tend to be more hostile to newcomers.  They live in large groups in tunnel systems.  They like to be in desert areas where it is very hot.

Another breed is the forest vorox.  They are smaller than the sand vorox but much faster.  They are a dark tan color and can have brown or black markings.  They live in smaller groups of two to six.  They live in more forested areas.

The most rare species is the snow vorox.  They have much more fur than the other two species because they live in snowy areas.  They are white with light grey markings.  They are usually solo, but want to have others with them.  Sadly since they are so rare, they do not often meet up.  They are very trusting and friendly.  They are the smallest species of vorox.

Abnormalities
Sometimes a vorox can be born as a hybrid of two species.  When a vorox is created the species is decided by the temperature.  If the temperature changes suddenly in the middle of the vorox’s creation then the species is mixed.  The only hybrids that can exist are snow/forest and forest/sand.  This is because the temperatures for a sand vorox and a snow vorox are so different it never changes that quickly.  A hybrid will have a base color of one species and have markings of a color from a different species.

The Black Vorox
The black coloring on a vorox is extremely rare and no one knows why it happens.  The vorox is usually a normal forest vorox but has a pitch black coloring with blue eyes.  They have a white stripe under their tail.

Grey Tinted Vorox (Also known as ‘Fearless Vorox’)
Rarely a vorox will have no fear of water.  They will actually enjoy being in water and swimming in water.  The thing is, water has a strange effect to the fur color of a vorox, causing it to change to a grey coloring.  This can happen to any breed.

Tailess
Sometimes a vorox is born without a tail and without any venom.  These vorox are usually shunned and die young because they have a hard time defending themselves.

Deafness and blindness
It is possible for any species to be created without the ability to hear or see.

I have read the info about the new way to get into the game.  I have gone onto the play game page and logged in before trying to get in-game.  It does refresh on its own like it is meant to.  It cannot connect to the server.

I am back again guys and hopefully here to stay.  I have greatly improved my art skills, my roleplaying skills and my characters in general.

Here is some info about me.
My username here is Rustys but I go by just Rusty. (The name Rusty was taken.)
My in game username is RustBucket.
My main character/fursona is CharChar, a blue cat.
I am a furry and I do own two fursuits that I have created.
I prefer literate warrior cat roleplays or human roleplays.

Introduction / Oh Hai Guys

Remember me?  Nahhh its been too long.  So long I actually started putting the wrong username in when I logged in.  Times have been rough and very stressful for me, but people here have always been so kind and supportive I felt it was best to come back.

What's Happening
I got four rats, Saki, Kitty, Misty and Zia.
Saki passed.
Misty passed.
I got two new rats, Cricket and Toni.
I tamed six completely feral kittens and got them all adopted.
I named a cat Batman. :D
I helped someone get his feral cat group in check.  Trap, neuter, release can be so boring when cats won't get in the trap, but so exiting when they do!
My demonic brother finally got send away to a boys camp, it is so much more quiet around here!
I have been roleplaying my human characters a lot and they are really developed, I am exited to use them here.
I got a new drawing style.
New characters - Alex and Duncan.
CharChar may be getting a slight change in design!  In all his past designs he had a stripe down his back, and currently he doesn't have that.  I may be giving it back to him.  Please tell me what you think.
