Stuck at "Connecting to front server"

When I open FH, it says "Connecting to front server" forever, it does this even if the Play Game tab isn't open or I type my username/password wrong.

The Play Game tab was open and logged in, except for when I tested it without.
I didn't misspell anything, except for when I tested misspelling things.
The only recent modification I've done in the FH folder was working on a preset.

One trick that I have learned is to reinstall the game over what you have. Make sure you replaced the exe with the updated one that is separate. Try it without adding anything else back. (This will preserver your presets etc.)
If the game works without modification, then try reintroducing one thing at a time. I'd probably start with the legendary items and markings.
If the game stops working at any point, you will then know what was causing the issue.

p.s. You could start by seeing if there is a badfile.reminder file in the FH folder.
