Preset Updating with SVN

So, I realize that the reason a lot of people don't use presets is due to the fact that it is a hassle to obtain and install them every time someone gives you a new preset. So I had an idea. Someone could host an SVN repository and keep a master list of presets that are sent to them or collected, and you simply replace your presets folder in FH with a checkout of that SVN!
The benefits of this would be that the SVN would be able to update if the master list is changed, and all without modifying any FH game files.
I may or may not be able to test this theory, dependent or not on whether my programming buddies have time to help me set up a test repository. If this does work, someone may be able to host it and make our much lives easier.
Needless to say, however, this would only be a temporary solution.

May have set the bar a little high with this one. You guys might not even know what SVN is...
