How about this...

We switch all the portals INTO Bonfire

Even if it's not a wonderful default and maybe later they could fix it up, you could still get to the other areas easier.

So like they'd be set up together or in different areas of the island.

I know sometimes people enjoy running.. everywhere.. but what if u needa get there before people havta go and since you have to run ALL THE WAY THERE... they havta go?

Why not just have them rreachable in Bonfire? Like you could remove the plains map entrance out of the tunnel, it could be just one big rp area, move the map to the plains some place else in bonfire away from the tunnels entrance etc.

Downloaded maps would still be in the cape ofc, but wouldnt it be easier then running EVERYWHERE?

Better putting down some time on making a completely new starting area in that case if you ask me.

I see what you mean and I slightly agree, but Bonfire is like a ''game'' area in a way, since a lot of people like to hang out there, for instance it's a good place to advertise your RP's Groups or make new friends, yes, there are always going to be some more immatore people than others, it's also a good default.

Well I personaly like bonfire as the deafult, but sometimes its too laggy, throws me out ans sais its a 'bad token'-and I have an almost NEW laptop... I can't imagine it how ppl with an old and laggy computer are doing this..

All the RPs who search members in the bonfire don't have much luck if you ask me. People there are just too lazy to do anything.. whats the point at going in the game, wait a couple of minutes to see if there is anything interesting, find nothing and just stay in and 'look cool'..

Edit: -I'm not being mean or anything, so please understand-

Bonfire is not the cause of the lag though. The game noms very much cpu performance when playing in a crowded area, and even if you have a decent computer you would have to live with it since there's quite alot players in one space most of the time. Even a change of the map would still cause some lag I'm afraid.
