You can get there through a portal in Ficho Tunnel. Go to Lonely Cave then go to the Ficho Tunnel portal. Once through it you'll end up in some water just keep going straight forward, not to the right over the waterfall and you should run into the Bonfire Island portal. Good luck I hope that helps you.
