plus it kinda annoys me how if someone posts something really sad/important to them or something and the next post completely ignores it
I see where you're coming from, but users aren't required to reply corresponding to the previous post; this isn't exactly a discussion thread in the first place. It's a simple game that's made for enjoyment. Maybe that user A), is new and decided to try this thread, B), does not understand what was posts (usually if it's relating to a subject/site/band/game, or whatever it may be, etc. etc. If that user needs help, an opinion, etc., they should post an entirely new thread.
