Are You a Fandom Roleplayer?

Chances are that each of us is part of some sort of fandom(s). Some of us love Pokemon, Five Nights at Freddy's, Slenderman, My Little Pony, Dr. Who, or Hetalia. The list is endless. The question is how many of you bring your love for your particular fandom(s) on Feral Heart through roleplay? Do any of you roleplay as characters from your favorite fandoms and if so who or what do you roleplay as then?

During my time on Feral Heart I have roleplayed as a couple characters from fandoms that I love which include Ginga Densetsu Weed, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, The Lion King, and Pewdiepie.

What about you?

Not sure if I should consider this as a mini "rant" or a general address but something has been bothering me for the past few weeks on Feral Heart and that's the dark humor some users have on very disturbing, depressing, and serious topics.

The main topic I'm talking about here is Ebola.

Yes it's not something I like to talk about very much but given the gravity of the topic I felt I needed to state some things. This issue is a very important issue going on in our world. It's been taking the lives of many people for quite some time now and it's caused a lot of suffering, pain, and fear.

So why do so many users on FH think that this is the kind of topic to throw around disrespectfully and worse joke about?

The dark sense of humor in some users on FH is disgusting and it's not limited to jokes about ebola but it's also seen constantly with talk of rape, terrorism, and suicide. I seriously fail to see the humor in these topics. Have some users really stooped this low?

I think that it's time for some users to reevaluate themselves and their maturity level. I also think some users need to use their brain and hearts when bringing up discussions like these or better yet don't bring up these discussions. Consider the severity of these topics before letting yourself speak of them in such an insensitive and childish manner. Think deeply about how you'd feel if any of these issues effected someone or something you love dearly. Would you be happy to hear others make such a mockery of your or your loved ones suffering? I highly doubt it.

Please stop embarrassing yourselves and ruining the integrity of this game and community because every time someone does something bad here they have an effect on the entire community and out look of this game.

So I suggest that we do this-

Let's keep Feral Heart as:

- a happy & fun place.
- a community of friends & family
- a safe refuge
- an imaginative canvas
-  an escape from the harshness of reality

But more importantly let's start by improving ourselves as not only players but individuals.

Happy Birthday WhiteLightHeart/Allegra my mod sister

That's right today is this lovely ladies birthday <3 It has been such a pleasure getting to know and work with someone like you. I will never forget the old days back when we were mod sisters :,D and little nubs learning from Red and now look at cha <3 -dramatically whipes tear- Growing up so fast xD But remember I'm still your big mod sister ;D

Ok but seriously I want to thank you for everything you do for this community both inside and outside of the game. I don't think we could ask for better admin in this community. You always go the extra mile to help even though you've already got such a busy life. The amount of work and preparation you do for things is impressive and I'm always inspired by your work ethic. Aside from that though you're also a very supportive friend. Whenever there's been trouble you always seem to be there to jump to the rescue and I really love that <3 You're a tough cookie and you even surprise me sometimes xD Nothing like when Allegra comes to spank the naughty ones xD I also love your humor and just so much about you.

I hope your birthday is full of happiness and I wish for many more joyful, healthy, successful years for you hun. May today be filled with sweet memories and lots of laughter. Best wishes to you.

Game Discussion / Lack of Development & Abandoning of Characters Killing Roleplays?

Why is it that some users create so many "fursonas" or characters and barely ever use them after a short while. It's especially sad when I see these users request art or presets of these characters and simply toss them away after a roleplay expires or they get "tired" of using them.

Why don't more users learn to embrace and enjoy one main character or a couple of main characters and work to develop them? I find it nearly impossible to tire of a character that I've worked so hard to develop. This lack of attachment to characters is a big reason why I believe so many roleplays are so uninteresting now of days. Users create new characters and don't give themself enough time to connect to the character they are playing. This makes it easy for them to simply discard the character(s). Now there is nothing wrong with making new characters but I really do believe some should work out each character that they do make and not just throw them away to replace them with yet a new character...

I honestly think that if a person "tires" of their character that they should attempt to either recreate or give away the character. Since our characters often reflect parts of who we are it seems normal that we would change our characters with time. Rather then dumping the entire character users can find creative ways to explain why the character changed appearance, name, or attitude etc. Maybe your character could have had offspring which would allow you to develop a new character but carry on similar appearance. This could help fuel interesting story plots as well and keep rps alive and thriving.

The other option would be to allow others to take the character from you. I have seen people with such beautiful or interesting characters who no longer desire to keep them. The characters often have well developed back stories and beautiful presets. Why let all that go to waste ._.?

I will keep my opinions as to why I believe that people do this fairly broad here so as to not influence others opinions.

Because Sura doesn't already make enough derp topics... While sitting in Bonfire the other day I noticed a user that reminded me of two other familiar faces around the site. I decided that this mix of both of their characters looked like it could be a possible pup of theirs. I then poked fun at them about it ;D But yeah after that I thought hey what if I made a topic where users could post screenshots like this? We often see each others characters or characters that look like a blend of others.
So yeah the question is what if (User A of your choice) & (User B of your choice) had a long lost pup/cub? What random user's character in game do you think would be their long lost pup/cub? Have fun finding them and feel free to post here xD
