A little idea of mine

Hey guys! I had a new idea for the stories board under FH Media. Ok, so alot of people write creepypastas there, right? Right. So, maybe, the person writing the story should rate it G-R so people that get scared easy will know what to read and what not to read, and then, maybe, the readers could rate it, too. Does this sound like a good idea to you guys? Cause I probably wouldnt go over watching/reading a PG xD but anyways... just a thought!

I fully support this idea, although it may be some hard work to incorporate al of those ratings by hand, unless a sticky was made ~noodle wiggle~ but, I do think this could be done ^^ Maybe PM a copy of your topic to a MOD and get their opinion on it ;3 But I do hope it's positive <3 Good luck with this hun, yew always have some good ideas for this community and forum!

It's not a terrible idea but I just don't see it as necessary for this forum. The main reason why is because no one should really be writing mature rated stories anyway. As stated in the rules:

• This site is PG13
  This is a game aimed for kids 13+. Therefore, any inappropriate pictures, links, or anything of the sort that is shown or hinted here will be removed immediately. This applies (but is not limited) to explicit, sexual, extremely violent, or pornographic material that is seen in your profile, signature, post, avatar, or anywhere that is caused by yourself. If you are caught sending inappropriate material to anyone or posting it anywhere, serious action will be taken.
  

So basically adding those categories would sort of contradict these rules since it would make writing anything mature rated seem acceptable on this site. Also without the mature sections child boards of those kinds would serve less purpose.

Another reason I don't see it as necessary is because people can add the rating level to the title itself rather than us creating entirely new child boards. The story section is not too long to begin with so it just doesn't seem right to add so many child boards for each particular rating.

Perhaps on a site where story writing is the main focus this could be a useful idea but here given our rules and a few other factors the need doesn't seem so great. Thank you for your suggestion and feedback though. We do greatly appreciate it.
