Derk Laine

Born into his father's pride the Impavido Pride, Young Derk fought his entire life to survive, harsh punishments, trials, deaths, everything pure tourture for him as a cub. All his life he thought he was a monster, a killer. And He loved it. Due to passed on genes Derk has the Insanity his father has, but some say, Derk has the ability to succeed in the third Stage...

Derk grew up, a killer. But his mother who had the faint kindness and weakness taught him to love and be kind. Derk embraced it, hiding it from his father to survive. Derk knew he would end up having to eat his own mother, and his mother knew it to. They were so close, nothing would break them apart. She taught Derk the saying of the hawks. "If You listen to the Hawks whispears they would lead the way"

Derk followed that to the ceromonial of adult hood. He became prince of the pride, branded the X on his forehead, he loved the idea to become king of the pride of Impavido, But he knew it was going to be tough since Zaraz was strong and un able to die due to his great health.

Over Years Derk met a lioness outside the pride, Kade was her name and the two of them fell into love, she looked passed Derk's dark pelt and blood stained face and scars to see the kindness in his soul. The two of them loved each other for years to come, Derk ending up leaving the Impavido Pride to be with her and their two cubs. Cameriz and Delas.

But...Derk still has that side of Impavido he can never leave, his father following him to this day to do what ever....No one knows Zaraz's plan but it intails Derk to be back in the Impavido Pride. But Derk avoides it, living his life now, with his adult son Cameriz and his other friends.

-Hope-

Derk, reunited with his love Kade after her being lionnapped by Delas, his own son....They created their own pride, Nyota Pride. His family and friends by his side as they watch the stars above where they live by the code of true friendship. Derk still has his dark past but he gets by it with his true friends and his love along with his beloved hawk named Kiya.

-Its a Routine-

Derk every night, goes to the waters and sits by the shores and looks up at the sky. Thinking of his mother who was the reason he was there today, His true love for her is eternal and he will never forget what she has done for him. Always there with Derk as he fights off the darkness of his past, Zaraz the heart of Derk's pain.

Without Zaraz, there would be no pain....

Zaraz Laine

King, Of the fearless pride named Impavido, he rules with no mercy, speak out and you will find yourself skinned and your fur to be added to Zaraz's bedding where he sleeps.

The Laine's have a unique 'gift' male's at birth are given the ability to go insane with power, hunger, and a killer instinct. To notice a Laine's insanity, their eye's shift colors.

Base Eye Color: Sky Blue
First Stage To Insanity:Blood Red
Second Stage To Insanity: Coal Black
Third Stage To Insanity: -No Lion has Lived to tell the color-

History:

Zaraz's growing up was always a tough cub since birth. Wanting to be king at first sight of lions and power at the bottom of his tiny paws he grew with insanity. He was born in the second stage of insanity, never born at the stable stage. Unable to revert to his calm side Zaraz grew under his Fathers Rule. His name in unknown or banished told by some Laine's Some say he was worse then Zaraz, But...That's your decision now...
At the age of young teen Zaraz was put to the test in the ceremonial Impavido Carving.

The Impavido Ceremonial Carving, Is when the new born litter is grown to young teen (If they even survived the harsh ways) The 'survivors' are put to the test, to devourer the litter's own mother. It shows the king and pride that the teen's are NOT afraid, if the teen successfully swallowed it's share of lion's meat, it is branded with the mark of Impavido on a certain body part that show's its position in its pride. If failed to eat the mother's meat, the lion is slaughtered by four lions pulling at each leg as the king delivers the final blow to the neck.

Zaraz took no hesitation in watching his mother be killed, the yells of pain jolted his energy, he lunged at his mother and began to ripe at her meat eating while she was still alive. The King was thrilled at the sight and branded his son with mark of being King, a X on the forehead.
Zaraz lived his life, controlling the pride as prince until his father disappeared, never seen again leaving Zaraz king of the pride, or as he calls it his Empire.

-Later In His Life-

Zaraz ruled, he found a mate who he cared nothing about, he just wanted cubs for his own control. And there it was, his cubs who survived. Derk Laine, and Kirken Laine. The others taken away by hyenas that Zaraz sent to see if the cubs were 'worthy' Zaraz 'cared' for them, Derk specially since he was the male of the litter. The Ceremony came and the two cubs did what they had to, eat their own mother. Derk was branded with the prince mark on his forehead, a X and Kirken was a given the spy mark across her eye, a X.
After a while, Zaraz grew power crazy, able to control his insanity in a calm way which was never attempted or possible. He grew crazy when Derk left the pride. Treason followed Derk as Zaraz now follows him. (Reasons for Derk's leaving see in his bio)

Zaraz Laine, a cannibal who took his own Impavido Ceremonial Carving to far. Playing around with his pray acting nice at first and show's weakness and tricks to get close enough. Being around Zaraz and to hear his belly growl is asking for your death sentence, only if your a lion of course.

SLEEP!

Zaraz rarely goes into the Third Stage Of Insanity, due to his control over the Second Stage, but if annoyed which happens when woken while he is sleeping, he will snap and growl insane and kill you.

Hello Everyone!

Im so glad the forum is up! I wasnt much active on impressive so Im thinking of this as a new start!

Sooo my name is David and my character is Derk, I'm kinda random around my best friend Matt who's character is Cameriz. I love all my friends and cant wait to get onto the game to make new friends and to see my old amigos, Im always nice so message me for a rp or anything and when the game is up come up to me and say hello I love meeting people ^^

I have a pride, Nyota. I have a proboard and everything, its been up for a while but no one seemed to join yet only my close friends lol. So message me saying hello or anything. I love to help anyone if you're having troubles. I love to rp and im pretty good at it. Im going to be more active on here hopefully.
