Can't play Feral-Heart

Hi, I recently just got a new old computer, and I want to play feral-heart on it, but when I open the game, the black page and the OGRE Engine Rendering show up as usual, although after i click the "okay" on the OGRE page, the game page either doesn't show up at all, or it blinks on black and then shuts off. I've tried downloading the torrent, and even blocking the firewalls on my computer. But nothing is working. Please help, thanks.

I see that happened to some of you. I saw few posts about it before. I have to say, it happened to me before too on my old laptop but then I fixed it. I have no idea how.
Try re-installing the whole game. Make sure you do everything correct when installing it.

If it's happening with that Orge page, it's probably the rendering system.

I'd recommend trying this:

- Go into C: >>> Feralheart >> media > particles and delete any ending in _0, _1, and so on.

- Change your rendering system:

Method number 1~

First, go into C: > Feralheart. If you look at the FH main folder, you will see a flie called:
'orge.cfg'
Click it, and open it with 'NOTEPAD'.



Look at the first two lines in the orge.cfg file. That is where you change your rendering system.



If you followed everything that was typed and the instructions in the pictures, you should have successfully switched your rendering system.

Method number 2~

Turn on FH!
On the main screen, you will see this:



Click options, and go to video. Click 'Rendering System.'



Then just simply switch your rendering system.

Note that sometimes method 2 doesn't awlways work- That's why I listed the orge.cfg file first. ^^

And like Dundee said, you could try uninstalling the game and reinstalling the setup from this site.

Sorry guys, I've tried what you both said, but still nothing. Except the game page is open for a little longer but still blinks off black. I dont know what to do, anyway thanks for the suggestions.

It may be the computer itself, old computers sometimes have outdated drivers or video cards that can prevent your game from running smoothly. Also you may need to
Update Direct X 3D9, it can also start causing the game to crash. Hope this

What browers are you using to install the game?
Google Chrome? Internet Explorer?
Try using Mozila Firefox, it may work.
But before you go to download a new FH, delete the already existing FH at your PC.
