Those wooden coasters really throw you around, pft!
Living in Michigan as well, too, and a long time ago my parents and I drove across Ohio. It isn't so bad, not too different from Michigan I assure you. x3 Maybe a little, depending on where you live in the state you're in right now. But I think it's kinda nice, with what little I've experienced of it.
I'm sure everything will turn out okay, though. Even if it feels like you're not comfortable at first, I think everything will go well. ^^
Thank you. I've only been once--for Cedar Point, haha. My first rollercoaster I rode was in Ohio, the Gatekeeper. What on Earth was I thinking. Bahaha. Anyway, thank you all for the reassurance. <3 I really appreciate it. It's made me feel a bit better about moving somewhere new & unfamiliar.

Been living in the same spot all my life, aha.
Kinda' stinks but oh well, I guess. Hope my new school likes shy bookworms, aha.
Then, we're going to head back to my humble abode & exchange gifts. We do a secret-Santa every year. Then, we are probably going to watch some Christmas film & say our good-byes afterwards. Then I have to get ready for my OTHER aunt Marian's visit. (Ugly Sweater Time, whoohoo!) We are going to head to her house on the lake & just mingle & chat with family. 
Fun, fun, fun. Then, we do White Elephant & mess around with each other. We typically eat pumpkin pie or apple pie after all the games are said & done with, chat a bit more, share embarrassing stories, etc... & say goodnight. On Christmas morning, it's a family tradition that we go to see a movie every Christmas day. This year, I believe we're going to see the new Moby Dick with my aunt Marian! Woohoo! How exciting! Then, we'll go back home & unwrap our presents & make breakfast together. Typically after that, we just mess aroud with our new gifts & chit-chat, hehe. I'm very excited for Christmas this year. I hope all of you have as nice a holiday as possible.
I'm very sad to be leaving my close-friends/family behind & what-not, so I apologize if I sound like a bit of a downer. I'll just miss it here!
There should be various 'black-holes' which are portals that take you to other worlds. You can find a majority of the popular ones in Lonely Cave, where you start off when you make a new character--but it does take some time to find all of the entrances & what-not. My suggestion is to slowly work your way out of Lonely Cave & explore from there! Happy adventuring.
