It sucks if your Friends doesnt have a PS3 and you want to play Online some Games with Users you actually do know A BIT or from another Game.

Game Help / You downloadet the Patch and the Game doesnt work? Look here.

You cant make it work. The patch makes the game crash. There is at the moment no way to make it back to normal.

It wont help reinstalling the game.
It wont help using another computer or operating system.
FH+ wont work also.

The patch is simply not working.
All you can do for now is to stay patient and wait for the fix.

News Archives / Informations to the Map Pack.

Due to the huge complains and problems from users having so much troube with the MapPack, it got removed.

The single Map-Makers may rework on their Maps and make them downloadable in the Maps-Section.

However. The Maps couldnt be fixed. We are sorry for this. Hold your eyes open at the Map-Section for the Maps maybe comming downloadable each by one instead of a giant troublemaking pack.

Okay, Another Update of the Game. It fixes the Export Glitches of the Last Patch.

At the Moment Windows only.

Information:

Who should download what?

NEW Player who DONT have the Game already Installed: The Game Setup, Patch not needed!

Player who already play the Game: You JUST need the Patch!

Newings

The Exporter now exports the Presetfiles and Mapfiles -safe-. They were be able to open with a zip Programm earlier, its now not possible anymore.

Presets
When you Install the Patch and you have Presetfiles in your "presets"-Folder, delete them. because the Game will crash otherwise. Delete ALL Preset-Files in "presets".
Yes, you will have to export your Presets -again-. But now they cant be opened by others.

Maps and Object-Lists


Okay, this is very important now.
For every Map, do your own Object-List. Load the Meshes into the Object Maker and create, for every Map, an own Object-List.

Why is that needet?

Because the Map-Exporter wont see that you use the same Object Lists for many Maps.

Example:

You build 2 maps, using both Objects from "mytrees.object".
Then, when you export the Maps, the Exporter will export those Object-Lists into the Mapfiles.
You upload the Maps and give them out, with the mytrees.object List.
So, you all know, everyone else has this List too, and maybe others has edited the mytrees.object List with own stuff.

So, the game wont rename the Object Lists for you.

mytrees.object from User A has the usuall content
mytrees.object from User B has different stuff inside, maybe another Tree

So, if you download Maps, having the same Named object lists, they will get REPLACED. That means that you can loose Stuff.

So you downloadet a Map from User B, installed. Everything fine. But then you download from User A and he has the same named Objectlist, but not the same content inside like User B, the Game replaces the Object List from User B with the one from User A and then the stuff from User B is GONE.

So, do for every Map an own Object List!


The Best way to test if your Map will work for others is to export the Map, remove the Map from Terrains and all it contents like Meshes/Materials, Weatherfiles, Skyfiles, Object-Lists. Yes.. not the easiest way but the best way. Everything should work from now on anyways.

Make sure to delete all the old Map Files you had bevore the Patch to 1.06! I mean the Exported Files only!

Exporting Meshes with a Map:

Do never name a Material the same way as another!
If you want to edit a Mesh with another Texture, edit the New Code into the already existing Material.

Because the Game can trouble up same named Meshes/Materials and then grabbing the wrong Materials. So obviously the Mesh then wont show up right.

By the way, yes, right now the Mesh should be safe from using by others, no guarantee on that since some Hackers always try to destroy things. You should still be carefull.

Little Problems comming with Materials being double in your files.

Renaming the .Material wont work since the link to the mesh is inside the .Material File.
You would have to rename the Code itself if it collapses with the same name like another mesh.

Example:

tree1.material -> leavemapple1 code
                     -> mapplebark code

mapple.material -> mappleleave code
                       -> mapplebark code


So the mapplebark code will make problems since its apearing to be twice in your Materials (The Game looks through all Folders, taking the First matching materialcode with opening the materials and looking for it).

Lipsync is just working in the Local Chat!

At the moment WINDOWS only!

Please Download and install Game-setup (if you are new to the game! if not you just need the patch!). So far, this is just Bugfixes, nothing really new.

You will have to export all your Preset Files and Map Files again in case to use/see them Ingame.

If there are Problems with Installing/Running the Game after updating: Make sure FH was NOT running whilst you installed the Updates!
Restart your Computer after Installing!
Stll not working, deinstall everything, download new and install again!
STILL Problems? Use the Help Section please!


Yes, i know.. this is bleh, but the old fhz werent save anymore, they got hacked, so they got changed.

Update Text:

[April 14] Major Preset and Map Maker change! All ".fhz" files now no longer work, please export your files to share again. Apologies for the inconvenience. MapMaker now also exports Object, Sky and Weather files. To share maps, just put everything into the "exports" folder for them to work! -Kov



You can overwrite the Files, the Installer will not delete your Custom Maps, Presets, Objects, Skys, Weathers and so on.


All FHZ Files wont work after you updated the Game. You will need to Re-Export your Maps and Presets all again and update the Downloadlinks of your Presets and Maps with the New Files.
You will need the update after a while anyways, the Game and Server arent synchron atm, but after they are, the game will say "Download latest Patch". So without the Patch, you wont be able to play. At the moment the Game runs without updating too, but not for long.


Map exporting:

The Exporter INCLUDES all your Meshes too, thats what Kovu says. Apparently theres a little error in the Exporter! If you Use Particles for your exported Map, the Exporter will do all the Particles in a Single File for every Particle used in this Map. You have to send them to your Friends too, BUT (!!) delete them after you sendet the exported Map. Otherwise you will get the Error: [Ogre Exception Error, Particle XYZ already exists..]. Kov will fix it as soon as possible!

That means your Meshes will be exported too, then you dont have to send the Meshes as extra Files. And no, others can -not- use your Meshes, they can only see them in your Map as long as they dont use your Files. Your Meshes are -still- not safe from being used by others. Mapmaker only puts everything comfortingly together so you dont have to send every File extra.


((Eh yeah, by the way, he never planned to protect anything else than the Map.-File itself, which is still .fhz and not openable. Read the first Post correctly and you see that the Maps are only not editable in Mapmaker, like bevore too.))

Please note they arent animated, so you cant push them inside your Paw and flipp t hem out again. They will be out everytime.

Ok.. so i made those Claws. And guess what? I made all the work to assign them to the Feline Tufts and some of the Manes. For YOU! Please dont ask about the Tufts and Manes without the Claws. I simply couldnt add them because i dont have those Files.

Anyways. Here you go. Download them at the Forum. How to thank you me? Just make an Post and say thank you at the Thread :3

You might take in just a single mane to test which one it is you want to use. Make sure to save your old files first so you can replace them when you dont want Claws anymore.


Instructions:

To insert the Meshes into your Game:

Open FeralHeart Folder.
Open Media.
Open Models

Put everything inside. (Well sure UNPACK / UNZIP them first!)

Done.

Your Claws will have the same color as your Mane/Tuft. Wasnt possible to make it another way, sorry ):

Instructions:

Download the File. UNZIP / UNPACK the .zip-File (You might need 7zip <- free)
Open the Unzipped Folder.
Take out the Tail you want to use with Claws.
Replace the Mesh in the Models Folder of FH: FeralHeart -> Media -> Models

(If you want to use normal Mesh without Claws again, make a backup/Safety File of the original FH-File you want to replace!)
