Poems / What my muzzle has kissed
« on: August 18, 2014, 02:32:05 pm »
What my muzzle has kissed, and when and how,
I have remembered, and what paws have touched
Between my ears till moonrise; But the forest
Is full of whispers tonight, that laugh and sing
Upon the water and further more;
In my chest there moves my love
For remembering times to come again
Will turn the sky so bright
There in spring sits the meadow
For the love of nature to sweep back in
To take the silence far away
Love never really leaves for good
Winter sings with its cold grip
But only for a bit
For summer comes again

I got inspiration from
'What my lips have kissed, and where and why' by Edna St. Vincent Millay

« on: November 24, 2013, 10:20:50 pm »
Been playing fine for over a year until the other day...
Suddenly I cant connect to the server at all.
I got in briefly once but now I cant get it again.
Tried re-installing a few times, does not work.
FH+ wont connect either.
I close the program but for some reason the music continues to play?

Game Discussion / How much time have you logged? Just a guess?
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:33:26 am »
Hello!
Well...I find myself, mostly over the last two summers, spending large amounts of time online, from before the sun rose all the deep into the night. I still find myself doing this on weekends.

Just curious, how much do you all play?

Game Discussion / The block button is your friend
« on: November 11, 2013, 04:17:16 am »
To be honest...I block alot of people.  Mainly people who are RPing, because I cant always focus when the chat is moving too fast and Im trying to talk to friends.  I block people who are  just chatting  because  its distracting at times.

Ive seen alot of people get upset over being blocked. Someone even told me "If you  abuse the block button, the mods will put a ban on your account" which is absolutely outrageous.  Even asked a mod (I think Red) and they informed me of this being a lie.

Its just...why does it matter if I blocked you? It doesnt really cause any harm.  These people get so upset by it.

Game Discussion / Its more than a pack..why do this to us? Near tears
« on: November 02, 2013, 07:20:04 pm »
So Im part of this group, this pack..and its very special. We have all been together for way over a year.
We play here daily, and are online for many hours of the day together.  We have become our own special family, and more than likely you have seen us around.
We are very differnt from any others you will see.
We have worked hard for our bonds.
Some times we get people asking to join...we usually say no because they dont hit the right material. Sometimes people randomly decide without asking to copy us and be expected to automatically join.   We have our own special look thats pretty specific.   In our place, you would want people coming around to copy you either.
Most of the time they just go away.
This though..this hurts alot.

We have a very special person  in our pack we love. This game...has pretty much become so much more.  Its what keeps her happy, to keep going.  This is her family.  We need her as much as she needs us.  Seeing people do this...it is sickening

Yes you can do what ever you want...but how about a bit of decency too?

Nothing Else Matters

The dieing space cruiser lerched to its side slightly as alarms continued to blair on the bridge.
The fox at the captains seat remained calm as he watched everything around him spark  and crackle with energy. Out side the cruiser's windows a battle of almost 20 ships took place around a watery blue planet, silent energy blasts firing between them.
"Seito?"
"Yes captain?" asked the wolf  at navigation.
"Would you silence the alarms please?"
The wolf nodded and flipped a swich on his computer. No one else was on the bridge, the captain had ordered that they all evacuate to the life pods. The red fox knew it was in his honor to go down with his ship, as all captains should. His first mate has chosen to stay as well, although he had asked him not to. Before he could save the wolf, Seito had ejected the last working life pod on purpose.
"Music, sir?"  the dark wolf asked.
"Something classical please, and a glass of what ever we have most expenive in here for both of us." replied the fox.
Seito turned a popular Earth tune on, and brought two glasses and a bottle of wine over. The ships rocking made it difficult though. Another blast hit and the ship trembled beneath them. Seito stumbled, but the fox caught him in his arms just in time. Seito smiled into the captains eyes. The fox smiled back, and both sat against the metallic grey wall. After pouring a glass for both of them, he leaned his head on the foxes shoulder.
"Its been an honor serving with you, Captain."
"As with you, thank you for every thing my friend."
The ship shruddered once more. Seito looked out the viewing station. It seemed their dead ship was being pulled into the planets gravity. Slowly the ship picked up speed as they were drawn in.  Panels and instroments on the outside of the ship were begining to burn off.
"Captian? Theres something Iv wanted to do for a long time."
The fox looked at the the wolf questionably. "Seito, call me Fell please, formalities dont matter now."
Seito suddenly moved him self over to sit on the fox's lap, and pushed his muzzles onto the captain's own. Fell's eyes went wide, but he didnt push the wolf away.  The fox relaxed and wrapped his arms around the wolf's back.
Explosions rocketed the bridge around them as they kissed, the lights and music had gone out a minute ago as the ships power finally failed, but they paid no attention. It simply didnt matter.
"Fell...I love you, I have for a long while now".
The fox looked into the eyes of his friend and pulled him close.
"I love you too."
Seito smiled and cuddled into the wolfs chest.
The fox rested his chin between the wolf's ears.
"I always will love you, no matter what life we are in my beautiful wolf. Always will." Seito brought his muzzle back to the fox's. No more words were need to be said. Nothing else mattered.

Poems / Savior in the night
« on: September 15, 2012, 10:15:02 pm »
Oh woe to the fettered fox
A hapless soul beneath the citadel walls
Paying reparations from forgotten crimes
While others wassail in the hall above
The fox lies on the barren floor
Rime covered chains his only company
A full moon light shines bright upon his grimy pelt
Upon his muzzle sits a grin
As he listens to the surrounding blackness
The clink of metal
The slight whine of an opening door
The figure of rapture takes soft steps of fain
Muzzle set from sadness to blithe
The sentinel liege could not bide his time tonight
The full moon light the perfect moment
To share the secret of passion
He takes the fox's muzzle to his own
Solace fills the room to warm
Fevent hearts aching to be free together
Lips lock and passion runs so free
The sentinel liege moves away
Sorrow takes the air again
Their blithe time is always short
The fox waits with closed eyes
for his secret mate to leave
Only to feel his shackles fall apart
The sentinel liege takes up the withered form in his arms
Never to let go again
To take his fox away from this loathsome place
To finally be free
To finally live with his loving fox
Held up in tight arms as carried away
The fox glances back to his eternal darkness
Closing eyes once more
And nuzzles into his savior wolf
As they make admonish into the moonlight night
