(Haven't decided on a name) PLEASE do not post.

Rain pelted the dirt, drasticly changing it to a dark, runny, thick mud. The once dry river was overflowing, rushing splintered logs down it's current. The sky was nearly a pitch black, swallowing up the horizon. The scattered, thin plants nearly layed on the ground with the wind tearing the weak ones out of the unforgiving, brownish muck. The Kalahari was being hit by a major storm.
"Yesss....They're deep down in their mangy burrows....Never will expect this one...." An evil, twisted voice hissed, barely visible in the dense down pour. "Mhmm...Are the others prepared?" Another voice was barely heard. This one was strong, and tense. "Yes...We attack at your command." A pair of peircing, dark brown eyes flashed. Suddenly, a screech split the air, seemingly parting the rain. About a dozen small figures lunged foreward, which seemed skinny because of the mud plastering their fur down.
"Wh-what's that noise?  Who's there?! Ow! Who bit me? OW my ear! Ahh! Ahhh! AUGHHHH!" The meerkats deep down in the burrow screamed as they were attacked. "Blaze! Into the nursery, get the pups!" a voice hissed, and the large meerkat did so. "H-hey! Pup stealer! Let them go!" A small female growled, and he battered her away with his paw. Three pups were crammed into his mouth, and he tore out of the burrow, and back out into the rain. "Hawk! Night! Get theese pups to our burrow!" He snarled, dropping them. Then he jumped back into the full, active chaos.
"We got the pups! Let's head back!" The attackers had defidently weakened the other meerkats. They lay stunned, still unable to comprehend what happened. Suddenly, the dark figures bolted out of the burrow and back into the rain. "Follow Blaze!" The creepy, old voice hissed. They did- back to their own land. The rain made it almost impossible to see or move, but they managed to make it back. They entered the den, shaking their sodden pelts. A voice boomed through the burrow. "Panthera!" Suddenly, a dark-fured she-kat slowly appeared. "Ah, there you are. We sucessfully stole two out of two pups. Take them to the nursery. Raise them well."  She nodded ,smiling, leading the wide-eyed pups to a large, wide chamber.
