To be honest this is a very difficult question for one to answer as it is very hard to judge yourself when it comes to art. Most people are very hard on themselves when it comes to things like this. It all really depends on what the people that were viewing the preset think. Not yourself.

I find myself to be a ok preset maker. But it all comes to the understanding of knowing how to design a character and to understand the special coding's you have to imply in the notepad.

I'm pretty okay with what I know how to do, but that is a extremely limited field particularly as the only "special" things I can do is to make the manes work sometimes and if the design calls for it I can do a asymmetrical character. But stuff beyond that like colour changing or moving markings or even transparency is beyond me as of this point in time.

I believe I am okay at making presets. There are some things I could always improve on, like my leg markings, scars, ect. There is always room for improvement. It's hard to judge yourself to be honest. I am always seeing it as not good enough, but that is simply me.

I tell myself I'll finally get into preset-making. I know at least how to make basic ones. I've messed around with making pelts before, but I've never actually put them in my game. I usually end up forgetting about any if I ever actually work on them. |'D

I'll say that I'm very good in making presets, the only problem is my occasional "pauses." For instance, I'll be doodling a preset just fine and then, out of nowhere - stop! It takes me a good two hours at best to make a preset, but with that sudden "pause," it can take a whole day.
