WQ is shutting down guys <:(

I have bad news people.
WQ is shutting down on July 1st around 10PM (theyre time)
It wont delay the next update though they'll be working on that.
The maximum they say they will be closed for a maximum of a few months.

While most of you will read this topic and automatically wonder what in the world a MN government shutdown has to do with you, well, as many of you know, WolfQuest is created and maintained mostly by employees of the Minnesota Zoo, which is a state-run organization. If the Minnesota government is shut down due to budget conflicts, the Minnesota Zoo may also be shut down, and therefore all state employees will not be allowed to work.

Though it's a complicated situation, the gist of it is that if the state government is shut down on July 1st, WolfQuest (multiplayer games and the forum) will be as well. We will not know if we are shut down until as late as 10pm on June 30th, so I wanted to give you the heads up that if you come online on July 1st and the forums are shutdown, it is not a permanent shutdown, it has nothing to do with the release of 2.5 and should not delay it, and while it's a huge pain, it's nothing to worry about on your end.

If we are shut down, we have no idea as far as how long it will last... it could just be a couple days or as long as a few months.

If you have questions, please refer to this page http://www.mnzoo.org/events/Shutdown.asp (which doesn't mention WolfQuest, but talks about the zoo in general), or you can try posting your questions on here- I'm just not positive I'll be able to answer them. I will not have access to my e-mail in the event of a shutdown, so please do not send me e-mails asking when the forums/games will be back up.

We're really sorry for the inconvenience, but it's totally out of our control, and we sincerely hope if the state does shut down, it will be for a very short time.

It's NOT pernament it will be shut down from a minimum of a few days to a maximum of a few months maybe it may come out in maybe 2 months or so ^_^

Well yes, but the forum is a shame to see it go for now, I've always enjoyed myself on it.
Though I have to say its for they're own good, they should of thought it through more, I'll miss the moderators for now.

Only reason it'll shut down will be because the state government shuts down.

That's only if a shut down is decided. 10 PM is the time that they'll most likely be told if there's a shut down or not.

It's a warning that IF the government shuts down, then MP and the forum will shut down.

Doesn't mean it'll happen, but it means its most likely.

I know, but there are a lot of peeps on there. One even threatened that she was going to leave WQ because of this!
