Some concerns about the game....

I've noticed it's very common in game. But I really don't pay attention to it since I know it's borderline impossible for it to be tracked by mods any way. And even if one mod would appear I wouldn't be surprised if the ones who caused the problem just talked back and others followed him and ganged up on the mod. Immaturity seems more common then maturity on the internet these days.

I slip up as well, but I know not to do so in front of a large crowd or younger audiences, I'd rather not influence 11-12 year olds with cussing every other word. I think when a kid swears that age they just look stupid, that's just my opinion though. It's kinda like that reaction when you see this 8 year old in a store swearing 100 times to their friends and you just want to say "STFU you don't sound cool"

WQ went to extreme lengths pretty much... they took out words that were not even inappropriate. The filtering drove me INSANE so I left after like a week or so.

Trolling? Like furry trolling? I saw this only twice, it was last night. Some guy just gathered his troll buddies and came on just spewing words like furfags and what not. No one payed attention to them, I was surprised random people were not like "OMG NU UH U R D:<!111!!!1"   I didn't pay attention to it though. Just kinda watched. Not many know the "don't feed the trolls" rule.

I DID see the actual offensive behavior, like threatening users personally. But again. Didn't care myself, though the person being trolled was probably pretty disturbed considering it was about a good 30 min argument that grew into a good amount of people fighting.

I do think some filtering should MAYBE be added... though a report feature would be easier. As long as it's not the kind of report button where people can just gather friends to report this person for a certain amount of times and they get banned and didn't actually do anything.

You can't avoid it but you can make it less common if done the right way.

Lol Safa, actually the WQ filter has the other annoying way of blocking words -- it doesn't actually block words, it just allows certain words to be said. And that's the more annoying thing, since you can't talk about a lot of things there. :B

okay seems like you dont understand WQ at all, then why talk about it?
first off... WQ DID have a completely free chat back then. (but you have to keep in mind its an educational game made for children)
But ppl like YOU cussed, abused the chat box to an extent they had to keep removing words.
@Safa96: names arent allowed in the chat lexicon for a good reason. At the chat box you could only see the ppls wolf name, the username was hidden, so many abuse reports were trashed because you could only report the wolf name. So to aid the reporting system, the wolfnames had been removed. (whose fault? abusers)
@Sarine: words were removed yet again for a good reason. ppl abuse, swear, and be inappropriate with common words, which they use as work.arounds.(whose fault? abusers) Sadly WQ doesnt have the funding to make a better chat. Plus its not meant to chat about your every day life... its an educational game about wolves.
So if you can make a better chat system with the amount of money they have... then go ahead and show me what you can make.
Plus... how come "big guys and girls" to the idea to MATE and curse in an educational game made for 10-12 years olds...
If they would stop, there would be no problem.
And i still dont understand why there are WQ haters... noone is interested how you hate this and that. keep it to yourself.

Um excuse me, I dont know what server you were on but I was on the Feral Heart server and I saw QUITE a bit of people role playing. Maybe not where you were but I know for a fact theres plenty of rp'ing.
And I dont know who 'they' are but Feral Heart is NOT a furry game. Its an MMO made simply for people who love to role play and appreciate Feline and Canine based games.

Safa, if it bothers you that much, just hit the magical block button. And that "sexual" thing you mentioned doesn't bother a lot of people. And for the cussing, it happens. Just ignore it. Life is not G Rated. I always thought of this game PG-13 and up.

On wolfquest, the game fails. FH was mad by mainly collage and teenage kids I think, and so far, their MP works,(unlike wolfquest, because you eaither freeze or you need some high quality computer), they have patches out faster than WQ can even make a new episode, they hire 14-15 year old kids to manage OTHER kids (not smart. I'm not going to respect someone younger than me), they claim to be non biest(spell fail pleaze LOL) yet it's a breeding hub for wolfaboos, they cant even control their own MP.

That game, because they have money, should have better models, animations, MP servers, and control over their so called 'edicatinal' (another spell fail) game and MP. They fail at their goal to teach people the truth about wolves, because all I've seen  (yes I used to be a member, I was known as Asheek) are wolfaboos bawing about every tiny bad thing that happens to wolves.

NOW ABOUT FH

I curse, if you have ever visited sly's stream I curse... alot LOL. There just words and if you don't like them, IGNORE IT. While I hate trolling for no reason at all and this whole 'LETZ LEIK GO MAKE  SOMEZ LIONPORNZ LULZ' (yes, I saw that, made me lol so hard)  is funny but annoying after a while.

This is not a game for 10-12 year olds whom think anything that could remotely be taken as sexual is banning grounds. People here have characters whom curse and do other stuff that would make any young kid gape at the screen in shock, and they don't need to be on here and we don't need to make rules to protect a bunch of over sensitive children.

However, if you know you plan on 'mating' or anything in that sort, go to a secluded area or you'r pwn map with your friends (turn the chat to party or group or whisper for the sake of others LOL). Roleplaying isint all sparkles and rain bows ya' know (<----SARCASM PEOPLE)

Yes, they are teens(not kids), who they assign on the forums.. but teens with great knowledge, respect and a matured mind. (unlike the 70% of the ppl here). and this is what neither of you can achieve or could...
Multiplayer isnt a fail at all, its just a thight budget they have.. if you soooo want for them to fix these things.. well you can always donate. (plus the game is more concentrating on SP than MP).. well seems like you have to refresh your knowledge...
Plus, WQ is actually about wolves (omg big news!!!) so of course the thing they discuss is wolves... -.- Dunno where you played all that time...

WQ has a THIGHT budget... not much funding... so no.. they cant make an UBERAWESOME game.. maybe they can later on...
yet again saying.. if you dont like the game (why did you play with it anyway?? did they hold a gun to your head 0.o?) then dont play it... and so you wont have a "negative" experience, and you dont have to go on a random forum, and rant about it somewhere behind their backs... if you are sooo tough... go on the forum there and tell them your opinion. -.-

well i dunno how actually this game got into the conversation.. all we ask for is a SLIGHT filtering... wth ppl think we want to take away all the words. We all friggin much know its an RP game and restriction of the words are negative here.... but really well known curse words have to be kept out. Every game i have played so far has these well known curse words filtered. after all they want to teach you little kids whats not allowed... and yes, if you go out on the street ppl will look at you weird and disgusted if you start yelling curse words... a sane person knows these are not allowed so it should be a natural thing these words to be filtered.
