Can't clone items

I'm trying to make a map of a cherry blossom forest. The trees are custom meshes, and up until a couple days ago everything was going fine. Now if I try to clone more than once, the trees just spawn off the map. The game won't allow me to move them, either. Restarting the game doesn't work, making a new tree and cloning that doesn't work, and a half-finished forest just looks bad.

Anyone know what's going on? :c

So if you try cloning another tree it will appear in the corner of the map you mean?

Sorry for the double post but the modify button isnt working for me at the moment.

Ive had this problem before.
If your out of the map boundary then all objects will spawn in a corner of the map.
Try moving more onto the map then outside in that "blue empty space" so your still in the map. Then the object should appear on your cursor tip again.
