((I'm sorry for the late post; my cousin was visiting for the weekend and I couldn't get to my laptop. owo;;
I'm thirteen as of the first of this month. Guise halp me I don't know what to think about this ;w;))

Kagura

Kagura was easily able to detect the sarcasm in the Buizel's voice as he asked another snarky question, but she didn't bother too much about dragging the argument on any longer. Instead, she just folded her arms in front of her chest in exasperation, the set of jaws on the back of her head opening slightly as if to indicate her annoyance even further. "My saying 'hello' is going just fine, thank you," she drawled, her voice laced with mockery, "and why don't you take a guess on whether or not I mean it? I'm sure someone with such high intellect could figure it out in a split second."

It honestly wasn't of any use to goad either side on any more, as they wouldn't get much done within the hours of the day by spitting insults at one another. It was possible they might be caught in the middle of arguing by Alastor, as well, and Kagura didn't very well feel up to getting scolded for not getting on with her work. Any passerby would probably get tired of hearing nothing but their useless bickering in the background in less than a minute.

"Well," the dual-jawed Pokemon mumbled, giving a presumptuous snort. "seems someone can't learn to take a harmless joke." It was clear that she didn't know exactly how to fess up and apologize for teasing him, but it was just that-- a tease! Why should she have to apologize?

((PFFF
"The Great Sass War"... >w> I'm sure those two would be able to cook up an argument that'd fit the title, though!))

Kagura

As the obnoxious Buizel replied, Kagura's temper immediately made itself apparent. How dare he, above anyone else, talk to her like this! "I beg your pardon? I'll have you know that I've been going back and forth on raw feet to help others all morning!" she snapped, resting her arms on her hips as she glared at Calcifer. It was obvious that she had a sharp distaste in others talking back to her own side of the argument, which only made her attitude worse and, sometimes, even amusing for other witnesses and possibly the other side of the fight.

"And what have you contributed to helping anyone, huh?" the duel-jawed Pokemon confronted snarkily with a grit of her teeth, flipping the ear-like extensions on her head out of pure and utter habit. She refused to back down from the conflict, and anyone who knew her would know that she didn't like to admit defeat, especially when it came to vocal wars. It wouldn't be too surprising if she was most likely capable of going on for as long as it took to make the opponent give up.
"Frolicking in the ponds and reading the text on a page doesn't do much, does it?"

((Alrightie, Moo owo We'd always welcome another former member onto the team!

Might also add another character sometime soon to possibly be a part of Calcifer Callers, if that's alright. I just need to figure out what Pokemon; there's so many to choose from! ;A;))

Kagura

It was a bright and sunny day in the town of Oradon, the perfect time for explorers to be out and about. The weather wasn't too harsh and the sun hung lazily at its peak in the blue sky above, though its brilliant light was occasionally repelled by passing clouds, making it so that shade was plentiful even if one weren't in it already.

The young Mawile had been helping others out the whole morning and was now strolling along the dirt path that led around the small village, greeting everyone she came across with a bored attitude and ignoring those who weren't in her line of sight-- nothing too unusual. She had been extremely irritated the day before and had blown up at just about everyone who didn't agree with her, confronting them with a sharp-tongued challenge. And of course, if they did respond with an idea that outsmarted her own, she would either put it down immediately out of self-pride or hesitantly agree with the plan, but act as if it were the most foolish plan in the universe. Hopefully, this day wouldn't turn out to be too bad.

As Kagura proceeded in her path, she came across a Buizel that she had seen countless times in Oradon who went by the name of Calcifer-- and he was holding a book, no less!
She just observed the Water-type Pokemon for a few moments before waving, as if trying to get his attention. "Hey," she called, "how come you've got a book with you? Aren't you already smart enough?" As she spoke these words of sarcasm, the Mawile recalled how arrogant Calcifer could often be, especially on the topic of his intelligence. Obviously it wouldn't hurt too much to pry, would it?

((Late post is late

Aye, thank you for accepting me! owo
And aw shucks, thank ya. >w>;;

Anyway, when do you think we should start; should we wait to see if we can lure in a few more members, or just begin roleplaying?))

Name - Kagura

Species - Mawile, the Deciever Pokemon

Level - 19

Age - 13

Personality - At first glance, Kagura is very bossy, showing nothing but aggression toward most Pokemon and expecting them to know who she is and what to do. She's definitely sassy, which is apparent to just about anyone who stumbles into her path. This Steel-type is also a little easy to anger, seeing as she will blow up on anyone if they make just one mistake, and assumes everyone should listen to her when she talks or gives out orders. All in all, she is more verbally aggressive than physically, arriving to the conclusion that her bark is worse than her bite.

Once her heart is set on something, it becomes very challenging to get her mind off of it. She has a great ambition to be the best explorer she could possibly be, and refuses to charge blindly into dangerous missions and such and will often plan out each exploit carefully before following them, though tends to overlook the smallest and at most times, the most important details.

However, Kagura's capable of being nice in her own unique ways. Despite her snappy, impudent attitude, she cares deeply for others and shows this often times by yelling at those who get themselves injured or risk their lives. She also likes helping out other Pokemon, though sometimes acts as if its a big deal and that the one who needs assistance should know what to do and how to do it. She just has a hard time trying to express and convey her kindness, and thus is more on the aggressive side than anything.

History - Kagura was born and raised near the summit of Calcifer Mountains in a very small family. She had been an only child, therefore she never understood the feeling of having brothers or sisters, however kept herself at play with the other wild Pokemon in the rolling hills of the mountains. She'd always dreamed of being a popular explorer, much unlike her childhood friend, who was a skittish Kricketot by the name of Aiden. They would always goof off together, with the sassy Mawile often dragging the small bug Pokemon along with her on little, childish expeditions and such, but even with Kagura taking leadership, they got along very well and were bound together by friendship. However, as she grew older, Kagura began to desire for more than just dreaming to be a famous explorer, but to actually be one. After a while, she decided it was time to make her ambition reality, to become the youngest and greatest explorer in the land.

After convincing her parents, she set out for the haven for tourists known as Oradon Town, and is now living there in order to hone her exploration skills. She still visits her parents back up in the peaks of Calcifer Mountains, however due to the rather long voyage does not return to her homeland too often to say the fond 'hello'.

Occupation - Currently thriving in Oradon Town, Kagura is testing and sharpening her skills so she can be the best explorer there could ever be, as she had become too distracted with family and friends back at home to train. She cannot yet call herself an explorer, however, and instead refers to herself as 'the great explorer in the making'.

Extra -
- Kagura has a bad habit of flipping her 'hair', which is actually the bang-like designs that lead to the gigantic mouth on the back of her head, as an addition to her personality.

- She has a bell accessory at the top of her head with two large, pinkish-yellow leaves attached to the end.

- Although the large, gaping mouth at the back of her head is more often used by Mawile to capture and eat prey, Kagura prefers to stick to eating berries and such. This may be because of family beliefs or something similar.

- Her name may possibly be based off of the name for the ancient Shinto music and dance.

*crawls up from the dead*
Sorry for the delayed application, would've posted it yesterday but I didn't have my character fully thought out. I felt the need to make a sassy character, so... >w>;

Also, since I couldn't really find any Mawile photos that would be suitable for her, I decided to doodle my own, so I hope that counts. I don't have any deviantART accounts or anything to link it to. ;w;

Art and character is copyrighted to myself~

Also...
"I'm so fabulous that I'm duct-taped to a wall~"
*faints from fabulosity*

Other Games / Re: Anyone here like the Professor Layton series?
« on: April 29, 2013, 07:17:49 pm »
The Professor Layton series is one of my favorite game series! I'm a real sucker for the brain-teasers, along with the beautiful art designs, music and interesting plots these games have-- and I'm really glad I'm not the only one who knows and loves them as well! owo And I've gotta say, even though I love all of the games equally, I think my favorite so far would have to be Miracle Mask. I just loved the storyline in this one entirely, along with the visually-pleasing 3D graphics in both the game and animated cutscenes with it >w<

And I know this is off-topic, but CallMeKurai, your signature-- Kurow~ <33

Hory Mudkips-- Blacki, you really read my mind~ This is a /perfect/ idea! owo It'd be great help to clean up which roleplays are dead and leave the ones which aren't so dead, along with organizing roleplays and such. I feel the Off-Topic Roleplay section needs a little bit of dedication as well, and this makes up for an ideal suggestion for a bit of a change to it~

Thank you so much for the awesome idea; I love it~! <3 *tosses floof at*

((Urf, really terribly sorry for my absence... xAx;; I've been really busy lately with school exams and such, and with my inspiration meter on low, pressure's been building on my shoulders.

Besides that, I got Shadow of the Colossus <3 And I love it to /death/~ The soundtracks, the animation, the graphics, the everything. It's a great game (not to mention a work of art) for those who like action and adventure; you guys should check it out! owo

Anyways, just gonna post Polarus for now, as I have little to no motivation to think up posts for the others ;w;))

Polarus bit back a yawn of what seemed to be boredom-- or more rather, the fatigue that burned constantly in the back of her mind, turning to look at the Mewtwo as he spoke up again. As he had probably expected, she just shrugged casually and responded with a blunt "Alright, sure." By now, she would've originally been complaining about how tired she was and how hard she had trained earlier; she seemed to enjoy tugging at others' nerves when she was bored, and then laughing about it later-- though, it was only natural the Zangoose would like getting into repetitive mischief.
Glancing upwards again, the mongoose-like Pokemon tilted her head back ever so slightly to get a better look at Triason Village. She'd only skimmed the outskirts of the small town and, once in a while, sneaking closer to the heart of it to steal food or valuables from unaware passerbys-- which honestly wasn't much in her own opinion. Only rarely would she feel bored enough or even feel the need to stir up trouble so close to the village, especially when she could be portrayed as an obvious outlaw and feel like she was being pursued by a pack of hungry wolves... maybe she was just overreacting, nothing more, nothing less.
The sky was getting darker by the minute, the sun's steadily-dying rays reflecting off of the neat placement of buildings and shops that represented Triason Village in whole as if pleading to them to rise the bright ball of fire high up in the sky again, like animating a puppet. The leaves on the trees Polarus and Vassily had left behind seemed to dull to a dark shade of green, no longer feeling the sunlight shining through them anymore, while clouds were left in disarray as the atmosphere crashed onto them. "Well, what are we waitin' for; Caterpie with wings?" This somewhat-impatient question wasn't meant to be rude, nor as restless as she intended it to be, but aye, she wanted somewhere to rest besides sleeping with the birds and the bees-- which simply meant she would rather not sleep alone in the forest for the remainder of her life in this world that so provoked her curiosity.

((...'Ho crud, I'm so sorry for my absence ;A; I've been busy, as well as I have practically no motivation.
Will be editing this into a post tomorrow if I have time. Again, I'm terribly sorry ;w;))

((Ho crud, sorry for my inactivity. My computer's been down for a few days and I just haven't had any motivation... oAo;; Thank you for accepting Wrenflight, though--

Wrenflight: I'm pretty sure I have no idea what's going on... but whatever it is... IT'S AWESOME! ewe

--Back to the point, I'm just gonna post Wren for now, as I have no ideas whatsoever for the others ;w;))

A small ball of neatly-packed snow flew into the air, landing on the ground below right before a loud hiss of frustration exploded from not too far away.

"Oh, come on!" Wrenflight complained, pouncing deftly over the fetch the snowball, which was now practically just a mound of snow that sat around all the other mounds of snow. It was hard to even tell that greenleaf existed in this mess of pure-white.
With a bored grumble, the cat kicked the snow back together with her front paws, feeling as if she'd been crushed by a boulder. She could barely feel her paws and her nose was freezing, yet she had no intention of going back to sleep in the warriors' den. The cold air would probably keep her awake anyways, and she had promised herself that she'd keep herself busy until the latest patrol came back. If she were to wait any longer, she swore that boredom would eat her alive.

With only a little effort, the she-cat rolled up another ball of fluffy snow and was now trying to roll it with her nose over to the spot she was at last, her cloudy silver-hued eyes squinted against the eye-murderously bright ground. "That should do it," she purred proudly to herself, having had reached her 'destination'. Wrenflight gave the snowball a final mighty shove with her muzzle and watched as it soared through the air, though didn't make it as far as the fresh-kill pile, which was only around three fox-lengths away. "Awh, you've gotta be kidding!" she mewled, her chosen words sounding exactly like what a kit would say. She was obviously disappointed-- each and every seven counted times she'd thrown (or at least tried to) a snowball in the air, they'd only reached around a tail-length or two away from her, and her attempts to make the ball reach the end of the StormClan camp failed.
