Dogs of JapanDogs of Japan (DoJ) is a newly-created canine-themed roleplay loosely based off of the manga and anime Ginga Nagareboshi Gin and Ginga Densetsu Weed. It is non-canon, but next generation characters are allowed, so long as they are not related to Riki's bloodline (including Riki, Gin, Weed, Orion, Bellatrix, Rigel, and Sirius).
DoJ takes place several years after the fall of Hougen and after Riki's bloodline as ended. Ohu has been left leaderless for many years, and all the warriors of old are dead, leaving only their offspring behind. A new struggle for power is starting to brew after the drawn-out absence of a hierarchy. Dogs of all breeds from all around Japan are gathering. Some gather in order to revive the peace the first warriors of Ohu established, others... Others are seeking to seize control of the ancient fortress in order to begin a new era of dogdom.
Rules1) This is non-canon meaning we aren't accepting the original characters.
2) Offspring of canons are allowed so long as they aren't canon offspring (meaning it has to be your character).
3) You cannot be an offspring of Riki's bloodline (including Riki, Gin, Weed, Orion, Bellatrix, Rigel and Sirius).
4) You can be any breed of dog, wolf, or fox (yes, fox), although we prefer dogs overall. Bears are also accepted, but only as secondary characters (meaning you have to join as a dog, wolf or fox first).
5) Colours and markings need to be semi-realistic!
6) Make sure to keep up with the roleplay.
7) Make sure to include the necessary info, what side your character is on, and to include a headshot of your character.

RD is a young male akita who has taken the helm for all those inspired to follow in the old warrior way. He is very spirited and happy, but when troubled can often find himself lost in thought. The first part of his life was spent in the lap of luxury, but he found it too much to bear. He was inspired by an elderly wolf's words to leave the human household and face the harshness of being wild. In the first few months, he has already discovered the realities of a world outside the care of man. RD later learned of what Ohu used to be, and has made it his life's goal to reclaim Gajou and to restore peace to the wild dogs of Japan. He is the inexperienced leader of the new warriors.

Fozzy was brought into the world by his German Shepherd mother about two years ago. He had more prominent wolf traits than his siblings that were able to be adopted. Fozzy's fur was permanently dyed in various places with various markings and was used in underground dog fighting rings. After many months of fighting for his life, Fozzy made his escape and ran as far as he could. He found himself in Ohu soon after his escape from the humans. Because of his rough past Fozzy is highly aggressive and possessive of his friends & family. Though once you get to now him he is a loyal friend and devoted mate, willing to put everything on the line.
