Yeah, sure. Although take note that canines and felines use their tail displays differently I.e Canine tails rise when exaggerating dominance and become pinned when submissive whereas a feline with a risen tail is more submissive and friendly, with the tail becoming more low when dominant, pinning when frightened and lashing when angry.
I actually preferred the simple tail flick back in IT. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't really like the idea of having the action box flooded with extremely similar moves when they can be reduced to just one or two.
