Feral Heart

I know there's hell on earth, and my master wants me to find it, the hard way. My master thought I was damned. I guess I am, since I cause nothing but trouble. Now I'm tied up to a stake outside, starving to death. At one point my master came out told me this: "Your pain is nothing compared to mine." Why did my master tell me that? I'm not sure.

 After 5 days and nights I felt like my guts were being eaten. Sometimes my master's son would come out and sneak me some yakiniku,¹ but I try to reject his offer. Otherwise the result would be my throat ripped out if I swallowed it.

 Another day pasted. I began to feel light-headed and high. Suddenly everything turned to darkness, then clear again. I stood above my black and white body. It looked pityful and limp. What the hell? I'm dead? I asked myself. Suddenly I could hear weeping. I looked inside my master's house and his own family crying. My heart sank. Oh wait, I don't have one. But I did have a wish. A dying wish for me to eat, but it was not promised. The family continued to cry. I felt a prick of anger. Were they crying tears of joy? I didn't want to know. I knew my master was happy though. There was a forest on the other side of the house. I thought it would be wonderful to live life of a hiragana^2.

                                                                                   ~~~Chapter 1: Non-Human~~~
Sen paced the floor back and forth, eating a stick of beef jerkey. "Senshi... At least try to send your saturday evening wisely. It doesn't last forever." Sen stopped as she whipped herself around and stared into Midori's terrianium. "Not what MY parents did to me! And I thought I'd forget..." A yellow labrador emerged into Sen's room. "Sen your mom wants you." the dog said. Sen nodded "Okay, Kimu. Midori you come with me." She grabbed Midori by the torso. Sen walked downstairs as Kimu followed. "Senshi. Why dont you go to the park? It's a beautiful day out." Sen's mom asked her. "Cause. I just dont." Sen sighed "But I'll go, if it makes you happy." She walked out the door and to the back of the house. "Kimu go into the forest and dig up the small box near that cedar tree and bring it to me in the park." Kimu nodded and turned into a golden-scaled dragon and flew into the forest. "Okay. Now let's go." Midori said climbing up Sen's arm and onto her shoulder.

 I wus bored. I mean like really bored, and in 3:00 in the morning *facepalm* so I just wanted to like make the next few chaps. Enjoys!

                                                                                --Chapter 5: Life Fight
"What are you so happy about?" I looked at Kira who was slightly grinning. "What? Oh um, nothing." Kira's slight grin was washed away by my question. "Well. I'm going to sleep. Oh, and you might wanna be here 'cause if ya ain't. We'll hunt you down." I said in a strick voice. Kira nodded. I feel into a sleep in a few moments. Soon as I fell asleep Kira walked over to a pool of water and took out one of the 'stones' and threw it in. A blurry image of Binshee showed up. "I've been waiting for you Kira." she spoke with a stern voice. "I've meet them just like you asked. Now where do we meet?!" Kira shouted impatently. Binshee spoke with glower "How 'bout that old cave by the large,dry riverbank? Mabye you can help think of a way to kill them?" Kira jerked back but she didn't want to tamper with her master's sataments "Okay" she said "But how are you gonna get there." Binshee scowled "Ahem, the warp mirror is a teleporter." Kira rolled her eyes. "Oohhh. I like, completly forgot about that." she replied scarasticly.

Kira was at the cave when Binshee was. "You've come" Binshee uttered in a ambitous way. Kira looked away "Now, about that killing part you were talking about?" Binshee rasied her brows like a smart alec and looked at her paws "Yes yes I remeber about that. I just want your opinoin about... Oh, I don't know. Flooding the riverbank over here and drowning them?" Kira looked puzzled "Drowning?" Binshee look happily "That's it! Drowning it is then!" Kira mocked her master sardonicly "That's it. Drowning it is! Yadda,yadda,yadda! Oh yeah?! Explain to me how we're gonna do that?" Binshee leered "Not 'we', 'you'. You're gonna lead them here then contact me and I'll do the rest." Kira looked mostly upset, she shook her head. "No. I'm not your spy. I never was your spy." Binshee looked greatly furious "I saw your parents in the forest all dead and you happened to be standing in front of me as a pup looking at me with those stupid puppy eyes of yours thinking I was gonna save you! But you thought wrong!" she bellowed. Kira looked outraged and struck the side of Binshee's face. Binshee struck her back even more unmercyifully. A huge battle was unleashed and the aftermath to been seen the next day.

                                                                                           --Chapter 6: TamR--
At early dawn I awoke and brothers happened to jump on me yelled "Get up! Get up!" I got up and looked through a bushes a looked through the last night and found nothing. I knew it I thought to myself, mabye she's at the riverbank. It was a few hours late when we got there. Nothing but some old trees and a cave. As we came near it I heard groaning and whining. It was Kira, greatly injured. The biggest one was gash on her left leg. She was bleeding and hardly breathing. Saber was freaking out "Talon do something!" he whispered to me. I looked around the cave and remebered that cat's saliva kills more germs than dog's. I started lick Kira's wounds. She winced and twitched in pains. "This will not ease your pain but it will prevent infection." I whispered in her ear. Kira tried to get up. Saber and Thorn. "Who the heck did this to you?" I asked her. Kira turned her turned away. "Nobody." she panted as she spoke. She struggled to get free of Saber's and Thorn's grip and walked to a pool of water a mile away. She took a stone from her bag and threw it in the pool. The image of Binshee reappeared. "So? Have fun from our little playdate last night?" she spoke with evilness. Kira was panting sneering "I know this world hates you. Just do what you're supossed to do and I hope I never see you again." Binshee lowered her voice "Oh, but you will." Kira snarled a slapped her paw in the water making Binshee's image fade. She got back with us. She madder than she ever was as we walked through the dried riverbank. We were at the middle of it untill we heard a large rumble as if it was an earthquake going on. Kira looked very worried "Run." she told us. "Go. Run. Get to the other side!" Me,Saber, and Thorn got to the other side safely, but Kira was struggling. I turned my head and saw a huge amount of water filling the riverbank. It was coming fast. It came almost upon Kira. She looked at us with eyes full of pain. She closed them and lowered her head. The water completly covered the whole river. Kira was no where to be seen. I shook my head and ran toawrds the river "No!" I cried as I dove into the flooded valley.

                                                                                         --Chapter 4: Kira--
Prologue: Ice blue eyes emerged from the darkness. "Kira! Get of your lazy butt and come down here!!" a female white tiger roared. A cream pelted female wolf with with legs and black tail tip down down the tower stairs tiredly. "What is it?" she asked as she yawned. The tiger glared at her spy "Kira, I want you to hunt down something for me." Kira frowned "And just what is this 'something' you want me to hunt down Binshee?" Binshee looked her with annoyance "Their names are Talon,Saber, and Thorn." she said paced around Kira. "They're at Wailing Plains. 2 days run from here and 3 days walk." she added. Kira rolled her eyes "And what device shall I travel to contact you? One of them stupid 'magic' pebbles of yours?" she said sarcasticly. "Actually, yes." said Binshee as she got a bag of stones. She looked at Kira with a smirk "Safe travels without food." Kira didn't care what Binshee said, she went out the huge tower doors about to not enjoy a 2 to 3 days run.

I walking alongside my brothers not knowing what to do across some plain. I kept having images of my familys' bodies in their blood, but as far as I was concered I did not want to end up like them. My images were interrupeted by my brothers' annoying question: "When and what are we gonna eat?" I addmit I was sometimes thinking about that. A few long paces up a hill and our meal was served. A large deer. With full stomachs we all scurled up and drifted into a deep sleep. Well for Saber and Thorn.

I was awoken by the sound of rustling in the bushes. I poked my head through them to see a beautiful cream pelted feminine wolf with white legs and black tail tip who was eating the carrion off of our meal. She looked skinny and beat up. Wherever she came from she must have been underfed and highly abused. Apparently the bush I was standing was a thorn bush. A large thorn pricked me above my eye. I tried to say "Ouch" very qiuetly and hid myself in the bushes in case the wolf heard me. The she wolf perked her ears up for a few seconds and walked slowly towards the shrub I was in. Luckily, she didn't look in it, she jumped over it. She saw Saber and Thorn who were still asleep. I popped my out of the thinket and tried to sound friendly "Nice evening eh?" The she wolf jumped in alert then she relizied that I was no real threat. She sat on her scrawny hanches and tried to sound friendly back. "Oh erm. Uh yes, nice evening." Her voice was dry and weak. She must have not eaten or drank anything in days. I sat up tall "I'm Talon. And yours?" I said to her. The female wolf paused for a few moments and then spoke her name "Kira." she replied with eagerness. I finally noticed my brother who were still sleeping. "And this is Saber and Thorn." Now Kira looked even more eager. What was she excited about?

                                                                      --Chapter 2: Saber & Thorn--
The next day: I, Talon, was walking along the forest with my good friend, Tenzi. We were talking about legends and our dreams. I talked about my momother having her kits to Tenzi. Suddenly we heard a rustle in the bushes. It was a large,fat mouse eating fallen seeds. I knew it was no match for me, but Tenzi wasn't the greastest hunter. So she pased. I dropped into a low crouch. I was ready pounce at the mouse until me and Tenzi heard a yowl from my mom. Me and Tenzi suddenly raced across the forest floor to my den. Was my mother giving birth already? We were almost there when the yowls of my mother had stopped. Did she die? Or was she successful? Finally me and Tenzi reached the den, my mother was laying on her side. Tenzi skidded into a halt but I kept running toward my mother. Luckily, she was breathing and healthy. I saw two bundles of fur close to my mom's stomach. Jema,Kenza,Plasma, and Iwriz were looking at the kits like they'd never seen kits before. My dad and I on the other hand, were staring at the kits like they weren't even there. "Talon" my mother started off "Meet your two new brothers, Saber and Thorn." I flicked my ear, I never really cared about my sibilings. I rolled my eyes Gee, I hope they turn into a great hunter like me I thought to myself. Saber mewed like he was saying something, then Saber and Thorn sqirmed over to me and laid on my paws as if they were trying to comfort me and all my troubles.

                                                                                      --Chapter 3: A Dark Siege--
A few months later: Saber and Thorn were growing to where they could see and hear. Me and my sibilings were almost full-grown cats although I already looked like one due to my enlargement. We all had plenty to eat, we all had comfortable nests, and most importantantly, we had a good life. Well, not we, they had a good life.

It all started when I was at the creek catching fish. I caught three trout, surpised I could carry more than I thought. Suddenly I heard a scream full of terror. This time it was Saber and Thorn. I dropped my kill and ran toawards the den. When I got there my eyes were filled with horror. Jema,Kenza,Plasma, and Iwriz and my mother all were laid in a puddle of their own blood. But wait? Where was and Thorn and Saber? And my father? I went into the den to find Saber and Thorn cowering in the corner of the den. I saw terror in their eyes has I looked into them. I saw my reflection, but what was behind me? Suddenly I felt myslef being pulled out of the den, finding my neck held by a black cat. I struggle to get free but only the grip became stronger. I knew deep down inside me that if I wanted to live, then I needed to fight. I summersaultd, crushing my victim with my own weight (Though I was not that heavy) That didn't seem to kill it. So I quickly scrambled to my paws while the other cat trying to struggle to its. I bit its neck with all my rage. Suddenly I felt my grip instantly lost and went face-foward into the ground. IThen I felt weight on my back, it was another cat excatly the same as the one. I felt even more weight on me. Now I know what was happening, the cats were morphing. Now I felt more weight that I carry. I felt pain,weighed down, and rage. I could probably tell by the weight I was feeling that there was.... about 8 cats on me. I could see Saber and Thorn peeking out from the den looking at me wih terror. All I could think about right now is my poor weak body straining against these heathens. I thougt all was lost when suddenly I felt all weight come off of me. I was finally able to breathe again, but what saved me? I saw a large white tiger-striped tom cat with an amulet glowing and shiny with white. It was my father and his Dark Sealer amulet. It appeared to summon light made all shadows disappear. I was still on the ground,hurting, as I heard my dad strain. Now what is it? I thought to myself. I turned to see my dad with many cats morph and attacking him. "Go, Talon!" my father's voice was weak "Take Saber and Thorn with you! Go far away from here!" I followed his orders, I ran towards the den sweeped up Saber and Thorn in my jaws. I took them far away from the forest. I sat them down and laid down in exhaustion. I looked up saw many acres of land far as the eye could see. I could tell now without my father, mother, and former sibilings. We were heading to huge jorney to find who's responsible for most of my family's death.
