Can't go anywhere but Cape.

What gives? Just returned to this game. My characters were all in lonely island with the update. Everywhere I try to go gives me a map server error except cape.

I would presume that you reset all of your characters home and sent them there yes? So you may just need to try changing rendering systems. You could also try turning your water reflections off and view distance down to 0 if it's a lag issue.

Haven't sent them there on my own will. I just assumed their positions were reset to lonely island since the last update. I tried turning water reflections off and distance to 0, tried changing render systems, but all to no avail. I'll try to download the client again and save it somewhere else. See if it has the same issue.

Yup. Exactly the same issue. Are there, by chance, any ports I can try to open?

If you have not reset your character's homes and sent them there, then the maps won't load. So I would do that real quick and see what happens.

try to reinstall feral heart (recommended), make new characters (if it works), restart your computer, go to another computer to try if it works (if you have another computer), make a new microsoft account (recommended because when you do it fixes all of your problems with games and stuff, if you dont know search how to)

I don't think you're resetting them on the forum ^^ That's what Arctic means by resetting and sending your characters home.

Try this:

Just as fireboss said, it's most likely because your characters are still stuck in the old FH maps and will crash if you try to load them up ^^

If you're not sure how to reset your characters and send them home, take a lookie here c;

STEP ONE: Login here, this is as soon as you type in feral-heart.com before hitting the forum button.


STEP TWO: After you login, clicky the User Panel button.


STEP THREE: Login again...


STEP FOUR: Click "Reset Home" and THEN click "Go home" for whichever character is stuck for you.

Well, it turns out this was the result of my own stupidity, since I accidentally used the install .exe that I downloaded months ago instead of the new one to install the game. Heck, the game sure looks a lot different. Time to explore!
