I found out how to reduce lag! Just reduce the images back to 1024x1024 and run the game. The detail is still kept but the files are smaller.

Oh, you might have meant the textures. Here. Can't remember where I got these, otherwise I'd give credit. Might have been Feralistic, but I'm not sure.
