Introduction / Old player, new to the game

It's been a long time since I last visited FH, upon seeing there are two versions of the game, I decided to stick with this one as I enjoy the updated and refined graphics. Still trying to adjust myself to using forums and learning my way around the map.

What is there to do? I know the basis is roleplaying, but I'm not much of a writer.. I just enjoy company and making friends.
Where's the best place to start in this game? And when is the best time to play, based on when the most people will be online?
