Vaillance is genuinely a loyal canine, with a lot to give, he has a big heart for those close to him, but anyone dare disrespect him, his significant other or his alpha then they best get running. Vail has no mercy for scum that annoy him.
Although as a leading canine he tries to be kind to most and aid them wherever. He is a very trustworthy canine, and doesn't open his maw to anyone, if you tell him a secret it has a 99.9% chance of not being told to anyone else.
After following the warrior branch Vaillance is a very skilled fighter, but in his age he is slowly losing the ability to keep up with the younger warriors skills...
Vaillance may come across as moody and not very approachable. But if you approach him a few times he'll get used to you, and become very friendly towards you with ease. The old bloke struggles to trust and only ever see's anger in himself. He is a gentleman hiding behind a beast whom just wants to kill you.
