« on: January 09, 2014, 09:46:10 pm »
So recently, my Turtle Beaches just broke now I have to barrow some crappy ones from my dad.

So here are the requirements:

It needs to be PC and XBOX 360 - able

Under $80

Microphone

Comfy earpads

Great sound

BUT, I already had X12's so don't reccomend me x12s if you know x12s is one.

The headset brand I have is "Logitech". It has a mic, comfy ear pads, can connect to PC, not sure about XBox though, may want to research that. My brother also has Skullcandy which meets all of the needs.

If you want something else just search it on google xD

Hope this helped somewhat ;o;

I bought a turtle beach headset once and it was the biggest piece of poop ive ever owned. It literally broke COMPLETELY beyond repair within 2 months of gentle use. Certainly not what you would expect from a $70+ headset. Since then I have totally sworn off turtle beach and will never recommend them to anyone.

As for what I WILL recommend... I am currently using a Gamecom Plantronics headset. When I got this headset, it was only ~$25. I have owned them for about two years and they have yet to break! Pretty good sound quality and the mic is good. An amazing value for the price!

The price has gone back up, but here is the link for it (or a newer version it seems like?) http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-GameCom-Closed-Ear-Gaming-Headset/dp/B001E45XT4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1389326826&sr=8-4&keywords=gamecom+plantronics+360

However, the description says that it is for PC's only so Im not sure if it will work for xbox. Someone in the comments says it works for ps3 but I wouldn't risk it until you find a legit source.

Either way, it looks like there are a few other GameCom Plantronics headsets specifically made for xbox so I would suggest checking those out! I wholeheartedly recommend the brand. Good luck on your search!
