some of the ones i play are:
Dawn of eternity; this one's honestly my personal favorite. i've went on about it before, but the models are just so unique to the game and the staff are really nice people. whatever you mean by customizable, it doesn't have that many manes or markings and such but you can get your presets uploaded to the game by mods. presets are also extremely easy to make on there (in my opinion). I'm probably just really biased but this game, i can not stress it enough, needs a lot more attention. it's also the sister game to last moon but even better.

Dragon's Den; not sure what positive things i got out of this one, but they do have dragon player models and unique looking maps.

Reflection of Spirits; despite the server occasionally being offline, they do have a variety of markings and manes to choose from as well as a leveling system but i'm not sure what it does other than show a number. the models are pretty nice too.

Cereal soup; has lots of markings for different species and has a lot of unique features. the graphics are amazing depending on the settings you use for them, but the controls are extremely wonky if you're new to it.

In-Game Roleplay & Group Advertisement / Looking for a roleplay group

I've been searching for a proper roleplay group for quite a while now, and I'd start my own but i have little to no experience in running them. What I'm looking for is a group where I'd fit in as the following character, Kiba: https://feral-heart.com/smf/index.php?topic=64688.0;topicseen which is a hyena. The main thing I'd like is basically any roleplay group that has a savanna-type African setting. I can join for extra conflict or whatever you want that works. What I'm not looking for is a hyena clan sort of group even though she is one; it doesn't work with what I wrote about her, and nor am I looking for a group with 3 or less people unless the group is still growing. I can provide writing examples and extra information about her if needed. I also slightly prefer at least semi-realistic, I mainly use Discord, and I'm capable of downloading maps.

As a last resort, if I come out still being in no group, maybe someone who's in the same position as me could help me out with starting one?

I agree here. I think we should all take a breath and let things smooth out for the time being. There's nothing any of us can do and letting the situation settle might be a good idea for all of us. Lets try and keep a positive outlook and wait for future news. <3

I honestly feel like everyone is forgetting everything else he did after he fixed one thing.

that's almost exactly how i feel. while nothing can really stop him, we can't really even say he's in the right or trust him completely because he still did a few other pretty illogical things. he also never gave a helpful explanation of how the new reporting system works, so i guess what i'm collecting from how he's putting it... is that nobody gets banned even though it assigns bans accordingly? no shade towards anybody, but i dont feel like this is an "it's going to blow over soon" situation unless raz reconsiders his actions. it made no sense to delete the patch maps. at least the community is calming down and everyone's staying together, but until raz owns up to everything or makes a more in-depth explanation instead of what seems like blaming the situation on us, this won't be forgotten.

- APPEARANCE -

- GENERAL INFORMATION -
Kiba is a female spotted hyena who is approximately 5 (human) years old. After reaching the age of maturity to leave the clan she was born in to, instead of starting her own or joining another, she decided to become a "loner." This means she hunts her own food and works for herself. Her whereabouts are not definite, but she'll show her face occasionally in random places. She's always travelling and can be considered shy or cowardly by some, but she's always willing to help and associate with other animals. Being a constant traveler, she knows her way around the land more than anybody. Because it was her own decision to be a loner, she is always extremely cautious around other animals she doesn't recognize because she may never know who will attack her and who won't. Despite always helping and talking to the animals she does recognize, she strongly prefers to never speak with another hyena and god forbid she ever tries to talk to her first clan again.

- PERSONALITY AND DEPICTION -
Kiba is a rather agile hyena. She's usually healthy and denies needing help with anything. She always finds the "playful" animals to be annoying, and is usually pretty serious. If someone is in need of assistance, she'll be the first to be asked to help because she's often generous. However, if she's forced to interact with another hyena in some way for some reason, she'll go full passive-aggressive and attempt to get it away from her.

- CONFLICT? -
The clan that Kiba was born in to has gained a VERY bad (yet good) reputation. It has conducted the most hunts, it has a very large population of hyenas in it, and it also has a very large territory. Every hyena who has joined it would become the roughest and toughest, even the low class males, except for a few who decided not to stay; including Kiba. Kiba definitely isn't the roughest nor the toughest, but because of the influences her original clan gave her, she knows a lot about hunting and survival. The reason this clan has such a bad reputation is because each hunt is for sport, and there's an absolute 0 chance of surviving if you're targeted by the clan. With more details given, some of the hunts have caused very deep grief among herds and even other predators themselves. This is where the conflict comes in. Some animals know exactly which clan Kiba was born in to based on a few of her traits, causing slight bias. One main example of this would be a cheetah character which is still currently in development who has lost at least 2 cubs to this clan, and every time she sees Kiba she will not hesitate to pick a fight. The two cross paths pretty often because they both travel as loners, which annoys both of them.

More may be added, since this character is still in a very early stage of development!

i actually saw this character in the grounds once and was in awe at the design when i did, so it's an honor to be able to draw them! i think i may have misinterpreted some of the markings, though, so feel free to correct me.

although this isn't the first time i've seen your artwork, i'd love to say that all of this looks so smooth and astonishingly professional. every picture gives off its own vibe and they're all so pleasing to look at!!
