I don't think I even have anti-virus software? It starts to download and then gets blocked and I can't open it and idk why

I can't download the exe because my computer thinks it is malware and blocks it. Anything I can do?

Ok this might be a dumb question. But I have Gimp, I put it on greyscale, 513 x 513, but..how do i pick colours to paint the heightmap with?

there's no option to pick colours at the edge like there should be.
